Ziggy's Restaurant & Bar

Closed and replaced with and oyster restaurant .

I came here a year or so ago to have dinner and drinks with old friends/roommates and they suggested it due to it being a friends place.  It's a total hole in the wall in the sense that it's small and the crowd was pretty small and seemingly all regulars.  Their menu was somewhat standard and had a few glimmerings of hope as far as excitement towards something 'different'.  I don't remember exactly what burger I had and it wasn't bad given that it appeared to be a frozen patty just somewhat dressed up.  It was by no means horrible but also nothing special in my opinion.  I do hope they stick around though just because it's nice to see local businesses on the main drag in Long Beach.  Then again their main competitors are Sonic and Bulls but then again one is Fast food and the other a dressy casual type place.

I love their shrimp poboys.  Theyre amazing.  Its a cute place, the staff is nice enough I guess. I kid you  not that EVERY time I go in there, the same guy that works there is sitting down eating lol.  I mean I guess its a good sign that the people work there eat the food.
