Zorba's is a great spot overall. Â I eat here at least once monthly. Â I love the fact that they have the drive through take-out window. Â Service is always friendly and helpful and the food is generally delicious. Â I love their Zorba's Pasta, Shrimp Scampi, Chicken Parm, and Beef Kabobs. Â I need to try more items as I often stick to my favorites. Â The only negatives I've experienced so far would be the pizza being bland and the elimination of the dark chocolate cake from the menu! Â It was the best! Â Overall, I would definitely recommend Zorba's and plan to continue to support this restaurant.
Review Source:I went here on a Saturday night @ the Worcester Location for dinner to go. Â Immediately I was assisted by a new and clueless hostess.
I had some questions for the hostess about the gyro sandwich. Â Inquired about a non starch side option. Â She was not willing to budge. Â
I ended up the the greek salad with gyro strips on top. Â I asked the hostess if I could get some tzatziki sauce on the side. Â She responded, "o yea yea, its coming with gyro strips so yes" Â .....No it didn't. Â I was in the car and gone before realizing it didn't and did not feel like going back.
Not much feta going on and the salad dressing tasted and looked to be right out of a ken's salad dressing bottle. Â Ive gotten a better Greek salad from Capones Pizza in Marshfield! Â They are an Italian restaurant! Â sad really.
The gyro strips were good...tasted just like the gyro strips right now the road from the oak street grill in Pembroke or cedars cafe in Hanover.
If i ever did go back i would dine in...hopefully with better service.
We've been going here at least once a month for the last 5 years and like others have stated, the service can be hit or miss. Â I can honestly say I have never had a bad meal here, some dishes/specials are better than others, but the food is always hot, seasoned appropriately, and the fried food is not greasy. Â The portions are generous but also like others have said, fried food dishes/platters come with too many fries. Â The waitstaff attentiveness and overall service has declined since the second location opened in Worcester and needs to be revisited; some girls seem to disappear for long periods of time. Â We'll keep going back as long as the food quality does not decline to help support a local business, but in exchange for declining service my two kids under age 3 will just have to continue spilling rice pilaf all over your floor until the service improves.
