Yeah, so no...
This place is very well designed and would look great in like Miami or some shit. Too bad it's where it's at.
I went here for a graduation party and until the Bronx and my hometown of Brooklyn learn that you can't be searching people like it's a prison (PS: it doesnt work, cuz there's still plenty of ways to sneak shit in a place if one were so inclined), they'll always just be another corny local ghetto spot.
I backed off the bouncer when he did my "favorite" move during a search, the karate chop to the testicles. He's like, "You wanna stay still?" (with a dirty look, as if I'M the dick here). I reply, "You do realize what you're doing, right?"
With that note, he went through the motion, but didn't actual chop me that time. Guess I got through to him.
Next, cashier... there's no way in hell I'm paying to hit up some local spot, when I dont pay in NYC. Sorry. I talked my way through the girl by dropping a name (which, turns out, they were supposed to comp me anyway, but were trying to be slick about it) and went inside.
Like I said earlier, the design is cool. I LOOOVEEE the fact that they have the videos showing of the songs they are playing. it's a nice touch that very few venues do.
However, the crowd here was mostly not good (excluding about 75% of party i was there to see).
I see no reason to ever come here again.
If you're looking for a nice relaxing spot in the BX to get away from all the BS, this is the place to be. Â Lounge-like atmosphere to relax. Â There is a dress code, so don't slack off because it's in the BX. Â This is not for the "Ghetto Fab" crowd, but for mature young adults looking to relax. Â Sit back and relax and get up and dance if you feel like it too :)
