A lounge with good music, drinks, food and most importantly...no drama.
I went to Martini Lounge about a month ago. Â My elementary school friends planned a little reunion there. Â It's a small space. Â When you walk in the place you can basically see the entire venue. Â I had no trouble locating my party even in the dim, soft lighting. Â
The dj stand was set up on the left side, allowing me to put in my unsolicited song requests. Â Beyond the dj is the full bar. Â From front to back on the right side are fancy couches and plush chairs. Â This is where my fellow classmates hung out. Â A waitress attended to our drinks and food orders so there was no need to go to the bar. Â
There was no cover or guestlist to bother with- Â At least not that night. Â There were no velvet ropes or "holding the line" to make the place appear exclusive when people drive by. Â (I'm so over that people.) I wasn't aware of any dress code but to be safe, don't look like you just came from playing basketball. Â A crowd started to build around 1AM. Â I left around 2 so I can't honestly speak on the 2-4AM scene. Â Oh yeah so you're not disappointed, there's not much of a dance floor between the bar and the couches. Â
Basically a laid back place to hang out with your friends without too much effort.
