Probably the only legit wine bar in the flushing/murray hill area. Â Great HH 7 days a week from 5-8pm with $4 beers $5 house wines. Â The space has a modern decor, very clean and intimate, and the service was attentive. Â Not sure if it was just the bartenders choosing the music but they were playing from good romantic tunes. Â They also provide light snacks when ordering drinks. Â Â Came here on a Sunday evening so it was pretty empty. Â I wonder how it is on Friday and Saturday. Â They do have food on the menu, but we did not order anything.
I will definitely be back. Â Great date place in the Queens area.
Driving down Northern, I've always noticed this place on the corner and have been wanting to come for some time. So I finally made it and I loved it! It's everything I imagined a wine bar to be-soft romantic lighting, high end finishings, great customer service, and good wine.
We sat by the bar but the other seats looked really comfy! When we arrived around 7 pm there were only a couple of people there but by the time we left, around 8 or 9, the place was pretty full!
They have an extensive wine menu, but unfortunately it was overpriced. Overpriced, like, I could get that wine at the store for half the price! But I get it, it's a business and they gotta make muula, and most restaurant jack up their drink prices too anyway.
For a glass of wine its about 10 bucks and for a bottle about 40. They also gave us complimentary long, pretzel like sticks which were nice to munch on.
The ambiance overall is great, the soft lighting and music really set the mood. I am definitely coming back here!
