Good, friendly bar/wait staff and great food. The location is nearby St. Joe's so the place is rather easy to find. Â
The feel of the place is timeless and comfortable. Â Best time to go is during dinner which they have excellent selections of meat items.
I'm usually commuting between Toledo and Fremont all the time and this place is a perfect place to relax and enjoy before going home.
Avoid the chain restaurants here in Fremont and support the local businesses because they are the best!
Good small town spot with quality food, safe and friendly environment, and a good menu with great variety. Â It kinda sounds and looks from the outside like a shady local dive bar, but it is nice and friendly and open on the inside, and was very busy for a Thursday evening. Â From the freeway (I-90), its about a 4 or 5 mile drive, but its worth it if you're tired of the standard chain restaurants...
The dinner menu has some surprisingly good stuff on it, like various sized cuts of prime rib, lobster, fresh scallops, fresh perch, and a good amount of other things. Â Most dinners come with a roll and dinner salad, so that saves a little bit of $$. Â I got the open faced roast beef sandwich, which came with mashed potatoes, and an iced tea. Â $11 total before tip - not bad. Â
If only I hadn't wandered in there sporting my Red Sox jersey during baseball season! Â (by the way, they were still very friendly, it was just a
smidge awkward as they are a Clevelend Indians-friendly bar).
Oh, and they had awesome looking homemade desserts, but I was too full to try one out...
