Alfonzo's had the honor of being the first meal we had in our new house. We ordered take out and had some pasta and pizza. The pizza itself was good, but because it was so large it was pretty soggy in the center. No bueno. The pasta was pretty tasty. We definitely digged that. Overall, I'm sure we'll eat here again.
Review Source:A group that I belong to rents out the back room a few times per year for meetings. As a Missouri guy, it's kind of treck to haul it out there, but the clear majority of our crew are Illinois residents so I suck it up and deal. They treat us great, the service is good and the space is enough for us to accomplish our meeting agenda.
I'm sure its a good price and the family, community business is something to support. Personally, I haven't found many St. Louis area pizza joints that I can stomach and unfortunately, this place falls into that category. I'll continue to come to this place because that's where we go, but drive aside, I wouldn't go here otherwise.
Nice, home-grown, local restaurant. Great Italian salad, wings, and pizza. Their largest pizza is "HUGE!" Consider ordering just a slice and share a large salad (which will feed 3-4). Even the slices are twice as big as a normal pizza slice. Fair prices, good food. One of my top 5 favorite pizza places.
