Just a quck heads up if you use this place, the contstruction of the Main St Bridge over Alum creek is nearly done making this place much more accessible again. Â I use it as parking place to go for long runs on the Alum Creek trail and for many 5 and 10k runs, which haven't happened in over a year because of the bridge being out.

This cute little amphitheater is tucked within Alum Creek Park in Westerville and is home to the city's free Sounds of Summer Concert Series. Â A variety of musical acts, ranging from cover bands to choirs to big band orchestras, take the stage on Sunday evenings from June through August. the city's website maintains a schedule of events several months out.
Concerts are free to the public with ample free parking close to the stage. Bring a few lawn chairs, pack a little picnic or a cooler of beverages and pick a spot somewhere on the tiered grass seating areas. Â It's a wonderful way to wind down a summer weekend.
