There's not a lot in Dublin but Lupe M. mentioned there was a karaoke place in my 'hood where you get your own room. I gathered a small group and we went one Friday night. I recommend getting at least five people because if you spend an hour there, you only spend about $5 a person. We ended up staying for two hours so it was about $10 each total which isn't bad. I called ahead of time to ensure my price and my room. They let you bring in your own wine - just no beer - make sure to get an ok from them first.
We also brought in snacks and food from Round Table.
The song selection is pretty random and often times the machines are a bit odd. It would stop after every song until we got the hang of the controller. Keep a list of songs in your head so then you can queue them up when you get there.
Staff were friendly and you can hear others singing when you use the bathroom.
I dunno the prices of the other items since we brought our own stuff. If you're looking for something fun to do that won't break the bank, stop by Amador Karaoke. It's a bit hidden - in the walkway next to the Dollar Store.
Also, if you want cheap eats, stop by the Dollar Store before they close for some treats.
I learned about this place from a friend. Â I had a birthday party here for my 15th year old daughter. Â Making the reservation was easy. Â I picked the biggest room they had. Â The price was $80 per hr. Â That night the room fit all 40 of my guests. Â We brought our own table that fit perfectly in the corner for our food and drinks. Â
The song selection was nice. Â It was a few things we wanted that wasn't available, but overall we made it work. Â We ended up staying 30 minutes longer than my reservation and they were to accommodate us and just charge us the extra 30 minutes.
Overall we had a great and very fun party. Â We all plan to return again for any future parties.
TERRIBLE SERVICE, kind of.
I went here for my 18th birthday and it started off super fun! I made reservations before it for 10 people. And the owner said it would be 60 dollars for one hour in a private room over the phone, which was fine. We would all split it. Then that night, after a night of fun and karaoke, we came out of the room, and this snobby Asian lady at the counter tells us its 100 dollars when the guy, (the owner), said it would be 60. I was angry because my teenage friends didn't have that much money to spend! We don't have jobs!! I told them a set price before this night. So me and this snobby lady get into an argument and she's screaming at me! Which isn't how I want to be treated on my birthday!!! We ended up paying the 100 dollars and stormed out unhappy.
So then the next day, I called and demanded to talk to the owner, the one I spoke to before this incident. And he was really understanding and he mailed me a 40 dollar gift certificate, which was really thoughtful. So I did appreciate that.
I would never go back here again, regardless. I work in customer service and if I talked to anyone like the way this lady talked to me, I would get fired!
Really nice place! I have lived in Dublin for almost all my life, and never knew this place existed! Staff is really nice and accommodating to big groups when it comes to certain sized rooms and split payments at the end. Their list is pretty up to date which always is a plus for karaoke places! Def coming back another time!
Review Source:It's nice enough. I have to compare it to Pandora in my hood, and of course no comparison. But for a karaoke place out in East Bay suburbs, it's fine. The videos really cracked me up.. it's all Korean and never really seemed to go along with the English songs we were singing (Elton John's "Tiny Dancer" has K-Pop boy band dancing LOL). They also need a full bar! Only beer available. The rooms were huge though, able to accomodate about 12 of us, probably more. If you're in that part of Bay Area, then it's more than an OK place to have a good time.
Review Source:I love this place. Since there's virtually nothing to do in Stockton; besides getting drunk and/or getting fat (way too many bars and restaurants here) my friends and I come visit this place not just to sing, but to hang out, have fun, and live life the way it should be. NO, not the stupid people's version of YOLO. Anyways, it's very nice here. Great place to relax, have a fun time, or party out! Depending on who you're with of course. ;D
Review Source:Having only been to one other karaoke establishment in my life (because my mother believes that they are dens of vice and should be avoided at all costs in order to protect my virginity, innocence and what-have-you), I don't really have much to compare Amador to. But I definitely liked what I saw! Tucked into the back of a parking lot near a Ranch 99, you would never expect it to be there.
Last I had checked, they were totally cool with BYOB so long as you check with them ahead of time. Their rooms are also incredibly clean and fairly soundproof (I could hear my room when I was coming back from the bathroom belting out a song, but I think we were also the only group there that weeknight), plus the lady who runs the place brought our little group of four a bowl of trail mix! We were so touched. Plus splitting the final cost when paying out was a breeze!
I would love to be able to come back and try them again, hopefully with a bigger group this time though. It's just a shame that none of my friends are really into the karaoke scene. Though once I get a few drinks in their system, then maybe they'll be more receptive to the idea. I'll keep my fingers crossed!
We have been here twice already and we LOVE IT! its the funnest place to go with a small group or a large group (VIP lounge) What I really like about this place is that #1 its super clean! #2 you have private rooms so you aren't singing in front of complete stranger like you would at a Karaoke bar/pub and #3 the price is super reasonable! The staff is really friendly and very attentive to your needs... I will for sure keep going back ... because it really is super fun!
Review Source:always a great experience at Amador Karaoke.
I am such a big Karaoke'r too...pause....huge laugh. Ok, but this place is really fun anyways. Great ownership, they always remember me when I stop by.
They also just updated their Beer selection, huge plus since this is what I mostly partake in while listening to amateurs sing the night away.
For a place in the suburbs, I thought that this place was pretty good. Not only did they have fantastic service, they actually had a song selection that was pretty up to date.
We came in there with a group of 5 people, decided that we wanted to get food to bring in since they didn't sell any at the location. We reserved a room, and it took us a half hour to get back. By the time we had gotten back, they had given away our room to others that came, but gave us an even better room at the same rate we had agreed to for the smaller room. I was quite amazed.
Then the woman gave us a bowl of popcorn even though we had already brought in a bunch of food.
The place was packed with people. It is definitely a hidden location not to be ignored.
I would definitely come back again. For a group of 5, we paid $12.50 for ~2.5 hours.
Speaking as an out-of-tune singer, I had tons of fun letting my inner rock star come out at Amador Karaoke. Â I was also quite surprised at the vast list of song selections and good quality sound system. Â Since this place becomes more popular as the night goes on, I recommend reserving a room ahead of time. Â Prices per hour (at peak demand $25/hour for a small room) do vary depending on the day of the week and time. Â Overall, the rooms were very clean with comfortable leather sofas and customer service was very good.
Review Source:Wasn't that bad for my first time here. Â You just need to call ahead of time to make sure you get a room. Â Lots of song selections, was clean, expensive food and beverages-food is not that good. Â We have to sneak in some alcohol and stuff. Â
If you really have a good voice it's ok 'cause your can neighbor will hear you belting out when they pass by the corridor...
Good customer service too.
Love this place!
If you know Dublin, then you will know there is not that much you can do around here (other than our awesome IMAX theatre! -__-)
However, Amador gave us hope that Dublin was "cool" and a nice place to live around.
The staff here are super nice. They are accommodating and gave us snacks after we were there or a while. Song selection is pretty legit, and the rooms are clean.
AND! You can eat and drink in the rooms too, so that's a nice plus!
Yay Amador, thanks for always letting have our karaoke fun :)
Clean place, nice people. Love it.
I've only gotten this at my regular place in ktown BUT EVERY KARAOKE PLACE NEEDS A FOG MACHINE WITH FLASHING LIGHTS! I don't care if I have to feed more money into that thing because I love it.
If Amador had that machine I'd give it a full 5. I was really surprised at how friendly the people who work there are.
This little gem in the middle of Tri-Valley is still relatively undiscovered amongst the old teens/young adults looking for a little late-night fun in the event of an "off" night.
I have introduced this place many times to various friends over the past year, and I have never left without my friends ranting about how great of a time they had at this place.
You usually sign-in at the front desk and get a room depending on how many people you are with. The rooms feel like a living room furnished with couches, coffee tables, and several binders containing a plethora of cheesy 90's pop and top 40 songs. The equipment is pretty high quality, but its a little concerning as to how awful some of us actually sounded when our voices were amplified over an instrumental background beat...
I wouldn't recommend going with those that are too much under the influence because of this reason (from my experience, intoxicated individuals generally believe their singing is much better than in actuality...)
One of the only drawbacks I had with this place is their lack of sympathy in certain unfortunate situations I have found myself in. I went with a few friends and we showed up like an hour early. I had mentioned I only wanted a smaller room until our entire group arrives, but we were placed in the largest room anyways. When half of our group arrived much later than we expected, we were expected to pay the full rate as if all of the people had been there the entire time. Although it was a little stressful to deal with, our group had a great time and we were given a little extra time.
If you're home with nothing to do, hit up a few friends and check this place out!
Well, La-De-Dah! Amador Karaoke was a little find!
Normally, I don't frequent this kind of a place (my initial thoughts were that it would be about as much fun as the McDonald's play land!) but I had a crew of middle school and high school young people who were looking for fun. Â I called this place and asked them to open an hour early for me, which was not a problem in their book. Â The guy at the desk warned me that Friday and Saturday nights they are booked solid (and it's not unusual to have people hop for one room to another) ergo, the early booking.
I took the tour and saw all the rooms, which were nicely decorated. The Karaoke machine takes a bit to learn how to work, however, they have a "panic button" which calls the front desk guy who shows you how to take care of the issue. Even better, they bring you as much popcorn as you ask for (which works with teenagers and Amador Karaoke cleans up the mess).
The song selections are outstanding although the background screen leaves little to be desired. My teens sang their little hearts out...in fact, they'd like to come back (I think I'll bring my mother-in-law next time).
It's a little pricey here, but it's good, clean fun!
I never really reviewed anything besides food before, but I just had to comment on this place. I don't go to karaoke much, but i've been to a few, and was just very surprised about this karaoke place.
The karaoke place is very clean and neat. There are no nasty things happening around, the shopping center is clean and well lit. Very big and nice leather sofas. Walls wern't plain boring white. and the lights are dimable to your liking.
This karaoke place had soooo much songs that it was amazing! Not only do they have old classic songs, but they have all the new songs that has recently been released, amazing!
The price for 8 people was $50.00/ hr. I don't know how much other places charge, but I thought this was honestly not that bad. For 2 hours, it was 12.50/ person. Its almost better than watching a movie. For 2 hours, you could walk around, be as loud as you want, eat and drink whatever you want in your own private room vs having one seat, being quiet, having other kids or adults be annoying while trying to pay attention to a film and starring at, essentially a white wall.
Service was great, no complaint here, never really gave us a problem. When we first went in, apparently most people reserve rooms ahead of time, and it was all booked up. The lady said someone had a reservation 20mins ago, but hasn't shown up. If you could wait 10 mins and they haven't shown up still, the room is yours.
If you live in the bay area, or driving distance to this place, I HIGHLY recommend it.
Appearance 4.0

(Out of 5)
OK  that's a low rating. This place was okay, reasonably priced though. A small room is $25 an hour and can fit about 5 people. So for 2 hours of Karaoke it cost $10 a person. I went with a group of 3 girls and 1 guy. We wanted to try something new and like I've said in another review I wanted to go here because it had good ratings. I like Yelp because of that. However I was alittle disappointed. The service wasn't good. Some guy set up our room and then left us to figure out what to do. Then 30minutes later he brought  us a small paper plate with popcorn. It wasn't very "top notch" like I have read. We were there for 2 hours and that was the only assistance we got. Pretty lame. The people I was with seemed to have a good time and I sang a lot also but its not somewhere I would go again. Honestly. I think it would have been better if the karaoke wasn't so private. There is no chance to meet new people , your just put in a small room. That's about it. I kinda wonder why this place has such high ratings. Plus the location is strange. I would have never known it was there because its on the side of a shopping center, in between Dollar Tree and China Wall Buffet? whats that about?
Review Source:There is only one warning I've for you: make sure you have a CLEAR understanding about the cost with the PERSON working the front desk! When I call the gentleman gave me a price of $5 an hour after I specifically told him it was just my friend and I. He said in slow nights they work deals (it was a Tues). However, when pay time came, there was only a Korean lady at the desk who wouldn't budge on the $25/hr for the booth.
It is kinda expensive for two ppl! That cost me $75! On the up side, the rooms are really nice, the sound system is great, and the selection of songs vast.
We've been here twice in the last 2 months. Â Good selection of English songs...new & old. Â Best part is they let you bring your own drinks and snacks! Â Last time we came here the owner was being a little too friendly and kept on drinking our stuff. Â But he wasn't here this last time and it was fine.
Review Source:Ha ha. What a great and fun place this is. It was a little hard to locate because it's behind the Chinese Buffet restaurant (or whatever it is), but there's lots of parking and it's absolutely awesome inside.
So where to begin? The rooms are very large and comfortable (great furniture!) and have pretty excellent equipment in them. They also come with some free snacks like popcorn and pretzels (which I didn't eat since I was just perpetually thirsty). We stayed for around 4 hours, and the bill came to about $200 for the 11 of us. It was basically $5/person/hour. Very reasonable, I think.
And the song selection is HUGE. So many Korean, Japanese, Chinese, and English songs. They didn't have a few songs I was looking for, but it's impossible to have everything, after all. :) Â Having several songs by "The Lonely Island" was already enough to impress. "I'm on a Boat!" Â Ha ha.
And man, the staff is soooo friendly. Took care of us really well. He came and brought some fans when we said it was a little warm and also turned up the AC. My girlfriend thinks maybe they're a little too friendly when the guy came and sat on my lap for a song, but it was just a really fun time. Ha ha.
fun place! Â we went there for a girls nite out and had a fantastic time! Â i was pleasantly surprised by the song selection..they have all these new songs that were a blast to sing!! Â BYOB is great and we brought our own snacks too! Â i don't think they have ice, but were nice about it and i'm sure if it's absolutely necessary you have ice, they would get it for you. Â the place is new and clean and people friendly. Â will definitely be back for another night of fun!
Review Source:This place is so much fun! Great way to end a night out for a bachelorette party!
For our huge group we got the biggest room and it was only $50/hr for the 15 of us. The staff here is so nice, they kept bringing us bowls of popcorn... but maybe he just wanted to hang out with this bachelorette party?
An inside secret is that they look the other way if you want to bring outside beverages and party favors. Amador Karaoke is also open till 2. Lots of cool people here hanging out as well and people were jumping from room to room.... it was like partying in a dorm hall with drunk people singing everywhere...
Good times in Dublin!
One star off for a mediocre selection of English songs. Â We certainly found enough to enjoy ourselves for four hours, but their catalog was definitely spotty at best.
The room was large and clean and the sound system was OK (once we figured out not to stand too close to the speakers while singing).
Great place to hang out with friends who loves to sing!
Very friendly staff and very clean place. Their song lists has most current songs and it was organized pretty well I would say.
Guy (i think he was the owner but I am not sure) came in and helped us set up the room and the mics (wish they had wireless ones). He was a funny guy and started our night when he tried to start singing but ended up just playing around.
Overall, great clean place, friendly staff and comfy chairs! I will definitely come back if we around the area again!
This is pretty much the only place I go to for karaoke. It's WAYYY cheaper than the one in Richmond and safer than Oakland and Hayward.
However, the English music selection isn't that updated and it's best to have a Korean person with you to control the karaoke machines.
But it's clean! And they don't charge any ridiculous tapioca charges.
clean rooms, good song selection, safe area... yay!
fawning owners who's overattentiveness reeks of fake... nay!
I come here pretty often, and was here when it first opened. I was most definately creeped out at how brownnosing the owners were. I wouldn't have been all that suprised if they tried to feed us grapes while fanning us with palm leaves.
btw the owner man tried to get me to call him oppa. hah! right...
On a different note, I do really like how spotless it is, and the song selection is fabulous. They have really recent songs, and that mic stand thing... I don't know what it's called but it reminds me of the movie "Dream Girls".
I have a lot of love for this place, and will continue to come here to satisfy my karaoke cravings.
This place is awesome!
The owner's very nice and the place is really clean compared to the one in hayward. The price is a little over priced but HELLO! this place has like EVERY SONGS! yeah definitely recommand this place!
I was there for 3 hours in the small room with 3ppl and and it was $50 but we only paid $45 cuz we go there often ^-^
Oh and they have this switch buttons, it's korean but it really saves time when you don't wanna look at those thick books! For the first timers and those who can't read korean, just ask the manager or the owner how to use it. It's convenient and it goes really fast in finding the song that you are great at~!
We found this place after leaving Amakara sushi and had a great time. It seamed a little over priced, but worth the fun we all had. Defiantly BYOB it is welcomed by the staff.
If your looking to entertain friends from out of town, you will look like a star taking them there on a night when its to early too early to go home and you have a healthy buzz from your prior engagements.
Yea...it's a strange place to have a nrb studio (behind China Wall Buffet in a shopping center) but that also means TONS of parking! Â
Hokai so... I'll just highlight:
YES TO:
- POKER FACE (I don't know why but the lady announced they had this song... I assume alot of ppl asked her? :P)
- Luxurious, comfy couches! Â LARGE rooms~
- Reasonably priced ($30-$35/small room seats 5 people comfortably - 2 hrs and we paid $12/ea)
- TONS of songs. Â
- Nibbles provided by the front desk (pretzel mix and popcorn/kettle corn? Â But we brought our own snacks)
- Very friendly staff
- They update new songs once every month or two. Â (He gets them straight from Korea the same day they update ~ then again, Korea is ahead an extra day)
NOT SURE TO:
- Having to switch a button everytime you change from the all asian song book to the all english book.
- Midi/Music quality kinda sucked on the English songs but Korean songs sounded pretty good
- Dublin... I could just go to Jaguar for cheaper and it's closer (but Oakland isn't the safest place to be right now...)
I had a fun time :) Â I don't know if I'd come here often but I'll def. consider coming back !
P-p-p-poker face, p-p-poker face ~~
Talk about a hidden gem! Â My friends and I were very happy to welcome the first Karaoke studio to the Tri-Valley last weekend. Â It opened a few weeks ago and we may never have known if my friends didn't own Doughboys Doughnuts across the parking lot! Â It's tucked away behind the China Buffet and the Dollar Store. Â But once you go inside, it's like you're in another place all completely! Â The rooms are large. Â The sofas are plush. Â Not that I sang them, but there are songs in Chinese, Korean, Vienamese, Japanese, and Indonesian to select from. And it's super clean for a singing joint.
After we called it a night, it was so nice to not need to consider the possibility of getting car jacked outside or drive a long way home. Â I suppose that's a low bar, but that's the reality!!
I definitely would recommend checking out Amador Karaoke, but should mention that  they aren't selling cocktails and beer yet.  If you're the type of singer who needs a little liquid courage, you might want to have margaritas at Casa Orozco first or make a pit-stop at 99 Ranch/Safeway.
