Great burger made from fresh ingredients! If you're looking for a Paradise Pup alternative without a line out the door, try American Wildburger. They use fresh meat and the toppings were excellent as well. I have only tried the beef burger, but would like to try the other options soon. The fries were solid as well!
Added bonus, they had a Yelp Check-in deal of a free Organic Soda. I had never tried the soda brand before, but it reminded me of Clearly Canadian (which is excellent!)
I've been to Wildburger twice. Â The first time I absolutely loved the place, great burgers and Cajun fries. Â Unfortunately the second time I went I witnessed how the run the kitchen. Â I stopped in after work to pick up food for my wife and I. Â I was 1 of 3 customers in the place with the other 2 placing their orders right before I did, so I sat for roughly 10 minutes waiting for my food. Â It's a small place with nothing else going on so I watched what they were doing in the kitchen. Â
The grill guy takes out 1 beef patty, 1 turkey patty, 1 chicken patty and 2 wild patties to fill all 3 orders. Â He slaps the raw meat onto the cutting board and begins to flatten them with both his hands. Â After he is satisfied with the shapes he throws them on the grill. Â He then goes back to the same cutting board and places all the buns exactly where he was shaping the raw meat patties. Â He then dresses all the buns with the assortment of condiments and sauces each burger required.
He never thought to change out his gloves after handling the raw meat. Â After he dresses all the buns he checks all the burgers on the grill moves them around with the only flipper that is out. Â Decides it is time to set the timer to make sure he doesn't over cook anything. Â The cashier then begins to make the fries for all the orders, he wasn't wearing gloves but found it not needed to wash his hands after dealing with customers and cash before handling food. Â After he dropped the fries into the fryer he used the same timer that the grill guy used to time the fries.
After all the food is cooked the grill guy takes all the patties off the grill, puts them on the buns and picks them up and puts them on another counter for the cashier to wrap. Â The cashier still not having washed his hands after dealing with customers or after touching the timer that the grill man touched after handling raw meat then picks up the burgers off the counter places them on the paper and wraps them up, drops them into their bags and adds the fries to the bags. Â And the worst part of it all the owner was standing right there at the back of the kitchen between the storage room and the kitchen talking to the guys working.
I take the burgers home, tell my wife what I just witnessed and everything went right into the garbage and we ended up elsewhere for less tasty but much more sanitary burgers and fries.
This place does serve up a tasty burger and good Cajun fries but until they get the slightest idea of how to run a kitchen with any kind of sanitary guidelines I will not be back.
Attention Gluten Free Peeps! Attention Burger lovers! Attention!
Find this little gem and you will have a "go to" burger place in your back pocket.
the owner has created a system of bringing you a delicious burger with toppings the way you like it! anyhow, I've now been there 3 times and all three times have been solid. Â
With a gluten free bun option, you Celiacs now can enjoy a meaningful lunch without feeling like you missed something. Â
The chicken burger is outstanding and the version they put out there has a special sauce and fresh jalapenos on it which make the burger nice, i had that on gluten free bun. Â
Today, I had the Philly Burger on a pretzel bun and for some reason it compelled me to write this review on yelp. Tasty. Â
The only thing that this place is missing is more seating cause once the word gets around this place will be super packed, well get there at lunch time even now and you'll see. If you miss it, too bad for you, I ain't giving you directions cause you might back up the line.
Second time here and not much better than the first time. I got the Chicago BBQ burger. An employee could have sneezed more bbq onto the burger than what was on my burger. I'm not asking that the burger be swimming in BBQ sauce but if I order a BBQ burger there better be more than a teaspoon of BBQ sauce on it. Also, the burger itself was over cooked and dry. My experience thus far has been not so good so far with the burgers. I'm not trying to be mean or harsh but a burger should be juicy. You can have a juicy burger and still be thoroughly cooked. Dry burgers in my book are unacceptable. The canjun fries are actually good here! Maybe next time I should just get their cajun fries and order a burger elsewhere.
Edit: I do want to add that the staff is very friendly here!
These guys take their burgers seriously. Â That's a serious statement.
Wildburger has not disappointed me with any of the burger creations that I've had. Â There is so much thought put into what ingredients shall complement their burger menu that I've never bothered to try and a la carte my ingredients and custom a burger. Â I trust these guys with my lunch and that says a lot.
The only things that could make this place better:
- some outdoor seating would be awesome.
- the burgers are a bit pricey for my lunch time budget. Â Y U NO have lunch specials?!
Are the burgers worth the money? Â Absolutely. Â This is gourmet; in Des Plaines, no less!
Fun burger customization here. Buns include egg, pretzel, and gluten free choices. As for the burger, you choose beef, turkey, chicken or the Wildburger which includes all three of them! You can either get one of their signature burger creations or you can create your own with some classic topping items. Sadly, I enjoyed the toppings more than the actual burger itself. If I ate it plain, it would literally be eating flavorless meat. Fries are very potato-ey and the Cajun fries aren't drastically different than the regular. Serving size for fries is fairly large so one order can definitely be shared between two people. There are a couple of organic drink options (root beer & iced tea) as well as typical beverages you'd find at any burger joint.
Prices are OK, service is fine, and you can order online through GrubHub. The place is super small. There's a few bar stools to eat at and just enough space to place your order. No outside seating unfortunately. Sitting inside by the one and only window can get pretty hot as the sun shines right in. Don't know if I'd go out of my way to eat at Wildburger very often, but certainly wouldn't mind if I'm in the neighborhood.
Since finding out I am expecting my first child, one of my (many) cravings is a damn good burger. American Wildburger thankfully delivers on that.
My husband has been raving about this new location for a few months, and I was able to stop in for the first recently. They offer the freshest and quality ingredients (including hormone and antibiotic free meats). Everything is natural, and free of additives and preservatives. Now that I'm eating for two these qualities are super important to me (and baby!).
I opted for one of there signature burgers, the Cali Classic (a classic chicken burger topped with fresh pico de gallo, sliced avocado, chipotle mayo (but I opted to skip the jalapenos and cheddar cheese) and subbed pepper jack cheese. They are super accommodating with making substitutions or requests. There are a handful of signature burgers to choose from or you can build your own.
They offer three different kinds of protein: chicken, turkey and beef. The Wildburger signature style is a unique combo of all three. I cannot wait to try that next time!
The service is friendly, fast and, as I mentioned before, very accommodating. I cannot wait to return again....hmmm, maybe that's dinner tonight?
Its a good burger don't get me wrong, there is one problem though: Â I have to make an emergency dump soon after consuming one of these.
Also the done-ness of your burger depends on who's cooking it. Â If you like it medium rare say medium rare, not just medium.
the agave soda is pretty good too.
American Wildburger started out strong and keeps getting better and better! We've taken out a few times in the past few months, and their burgers just keep getting tastier. Â And the service more attentive to customer requests and open communication (as noted by their strong Social Media presence). Â A very auspicious beginning.
Their outstanding service was highlighted by a recent visit, when they undercooked my Wildburger (beef, turkey and chicken). Once I discovered it at home (I know they cook their burgers to a standard medium, but even high end poultry shouldn't be pink!), I called and a new burger was waiting for me when I walked in their door. Once I got home, I noticed they included a second order of fries (nice touch), and a few hours later someone even called to make sure the food was good. Â Even nicer personal touch!
With the addition of American Wildburger, it seems like Des Plaines is becoming a TBD - "Top Burger Destination"! With a symphony of outstanding burger variations served up by 3 places: the thick, juicy and chargrilled Paradise Pup burger, The Choo Choo Diner's old school crisp and juicy flat top burger, and now American Wildburger's imaginative gourmet burgers. Gourmet in execution, but not in price.
Go there now and try any of their burgers on a pretzel bun with Blue Cheese and everything on it. It'll become a habit.
The (gluten free bun) portobello mushroom burger has gotten even better since the last time I dined here! This time I was offered salsa along with the fresh peppers and the entire sandwich had just the right amount of juice without being soggy. Talk to the staff and chef for suggestions, and you shall receive.
Review Source:I've been looking for a good burger place ever since I had a couple pretty stellar ones on a trip to LA and this place tops them all. Â You can really tell that the quality of the meat is top notch. I really enjoyed my Philly burger and wanted to steal the rest of my husband's "You're My Boy, Blue" burger after trying the pretzel bun!
Their fresh cut Cajun fries were full of flavor too. The staff even made sure to cook a small batch for our toddler without the spicy seasoning. They were all very helpful and checked on every customer to make sure everyone's food was to their liking.
Delicious, high-quality food.. I will definitely come back to try some of the other burgers!
Let me start by saying that I committed one of the cardinal sins of someone who once worked in the food industry by showing up 30 minutes before they closed. All business is good business but I know as well as anybody how discouraging it can be to have things slow down and then have one straggling customer show up. The folks at American Wildburger were welcoming and provided outstanding service, asking me a couple times to clarify some specifics of how I wanted my burger prepared which I thought was great.
I ordered the Big Breakfast because I'm a sucker for any burger that has a fried egg on it. I was not disappointed at all. They use quality ingredients and offer a soft pretzel bun. It isn't the best pretzel bun I've had (Rookies up in Madison, WI wins that) but it was very good. If they offered this burger with guacamole and a gentle spread of refried beans for a sort of Mexican breakfast burrito inspired sandwich I would probably come back every day honestly.
The service is not fast food. They cook to order so expect to wait at least 10-15 minutes but the wait is worth it. Take advantage of their online ordering option if you want it to be ready when you get there.
Seating is at a premium with just a single counter with bar stools, it's really more of a carryout type place just as a heads up.
There are only two things I would say I wasn't a huge fan of.
1.) Location: It's a bit hard to find and there isn't much parking. If the signage was a little more in your face it might make it easier to spot but often times there are city regulations about what kind of signs a business can use so this might be the case.
2.) Drinks: Everything is bottled and while they offer some quality beverages, I wasn't tempted to buy any. Seeing as it's more of a carryout place I didn't mind. Most people would probably like to take it home and crack open a beer to pair with it anyway.
Overall I highly recommend this place if you don't want to wait outside or in a sardine can over at Paradise Pup. It's at least a welcome rookie to the Des Plaines burger scene with higher quality ingredients than most for a reasonable price.
Got the Chicago BBQ burger, what a disappointment. Â I was hoping DP might have gotten a much needed gem here in town. Â After an almost 15 minute wait, and paying close to 10$ for a burger and a can of pop, what a joke. Â The burger was 2/3 unsalted pretzel bun, tasteless cheese, and a rare burger patty.
While the place was in the weeds when I visited, there is no excuse for lack of seasoning and undercooked food.
This place makes a GREAT burger. Can't understand any review under five stars. Meat they use is top notch. You can tell this is a fresh, never frozen burger. Great variety of specialty burgers, ingredients and cheeses. Something for everyone including those who prefer chicken or turkey burgers! A must try if you are in the "hood". Rivals any burger I ever had and at a very reasonable price!
If you have any complaint about this place than just drive 1/2 mile up the road and get yourself a Big Mac because you obviously don't  know a real burger when you eat one!
I'm in no way a food critic. I am an American though so I've had a burger or two in my lifetime. This place is worth checking out. The only downsides are the area....thought I was in Iowa for a second/thank Jebus I live in Chicago, its small....prefer some elbow room when maxing a burger, and there's no rum to put in that delicious root beer they have. But the burgers are great and they have enough of a variety to please multi taste buds. Throw some cajun fires on the side and you won't be disappointed.
Review Source:Brand new place with a sleek look on an uninspired stretch of Oakton Street in Des Plaines. Â And a really, really good burger. Â I had the Breakfast Burger that features a large juicy patty covered in melted jack cheese, bacon and a fried egg on a pretzel bun. Loved it! Â Couldn't finish it but loved it.
This may be my favorite burger anywhere. Â A title previously held by the Windy City Burger at Smashburger in Schaumburg. Â I'm going to give them a tie. Â And given the sheer quantity of burgers I've eaten in my life, that ain't bad.
My hubbies blue cheese burger was also yummy. Â Almost no seating so don't count on that. Â This is a to-go place. Â But soo worth it.
Drove by the this place a few times and heard some good things...I finally stopped in when my Burger cravings kicked in. Got the PillyBurger and recommend the PhillyBurger! It definitely hit the spot along with the spicy cajun fries. A simple place, A simple menu and SIMPLY DELICIOUS!
Review Source:Just tried this place out. The burger patty high quality and great! and even better all the toppings and sides were exceptional. The cheese was premium and the sauces were delicious. Also the gluten-free bun was the best I've ever tasted (i wasn't sure it was gluten-free at first.) Many burger places seem to skimp out on all the acutramonts of the burger but not AW.
My order did take a while to make. But you can see why. You see the cook making it. But I would recommend ordering ahead and picking it up if you're not in the mood to stand around for 10-15 minutes.
Since this place is new and seems open to suggestions for improvements, I have a few: In addition to gluten-free / low-carb options they already have on the menu, offering sweet potato fries and a lettuce wrap for the burgers instead of a bun would be fantastic.
All in all I look forward to going there again.
Stopped in here for the first time today. I got the "You're My Boy Bleu" burger and it was amazing. The bun was very fresh, clearly baked by a real bakery. Burger was cooked perfectly and the fries were great too.
It takes a bit for them to make the food, but this isn't McDonalds. There are no burgers under heat lamps. It's higher quality food made to order.
I'm pretty excited about trying the Wildburger next time I stop in.
I stopped by a month ago and they definitely had a few things to work out. Orders were taking too long, especially since most of us were on our lunch breaks. The cashier was taking orders on an ipad, that just seems a bit unprofessional. Also, the cashier didn't know what she was doing. I offered to give her an extra single to make my change 10 dollars instead of nine but since she already entered it into the system, she didn't want it. I tried to explain that it'd be easier since she gets more singles and I get one bill instead. She kept saying that she knew this then decided to take my single and not give me my correct change and then she said forget it. Mass confusion...the cashier should know how to handle the money.
I ordered the bleu burger, I dont know why, but I don't like the name of it..."you're my boy bleu"...I think it's from the movie Old School...I don't know if it's supposed to be funny or witty or something but it's neither, whatever. I was then asked if I wanted everything on it...these are premium burgers that already cost enough, why would I not want everything on it? If I wanted a couple things, it'd be cheaper to just get a regular burger. The burger tasted fine but the fries were horrible..they were cold and I think I got the end of the batch. The layout of the place was weird..especially the stainless steel table as you walk in...they need to change that up and maybe add a few stools with some napkin holders and ketchup/mustard bottles. I'm willing to try the place again and hope they make some changes.
Heard about the place from a friend and thought I'd give it a try. I love pretzel rolls so that was a definitely plus for me from the start. I ordered the Chicago BBQ, since it had most of the toppings I would've chosen from the build-your-own menu. Everything was good and juicy. We also got a side of cheese fries. I'm not usually much of a fries fan, but these were good! The seasoning on the fries are what made them for me. I also tried the Oogave soda and it was pretty good too. The price was more than I usually like to pay, but understandable since the beef is high quality. The meal was still tasty and satisfying!
Seating was limited, and being winter, it was a bit cold to sit by the window, so we chose to eat at home. Outdoor seating would definitely be nice once it warms up outside. Another suggestion would be to add some lighting outside and perhaps an entrance/exit sign. It was dark out, and I wasn't quite sure where to turn in, and ended up going in the exit. No big deal, since I had enough space to turn around. Seems like a good place to come back to every once in a while.
Really good burger and fries! Â The beef was delicious and cooked perfectly. Â The owners were very friendly and made sure we were satisfied with the food.
Since each burger is cooked to order, plan to relax for few minutes while they are preparing your order. Â Next time I would call ahead and pick it up to go.
I will definitely be back and am looking forward to trying the turkey burger.
This place is pretty exciting for this area...especially since this area is starving for good lunch places. Â I can only go to Panera so many times a week. Â I have been to Paradise Pup and that place is an excellent tradition. Â If you don't want to wait in line outside though (especially with the Chicago winter coming up) American Wildburger is a great alternative. Â They both have enough room to uncomfortably sit and woof down your food while others wait for their order over your shoulder. Â Maybe AW can come up with some outdoor seating before the warmer weather arrives to compete. Â They also might try working on some sort of pre-order system, so it's ready when you get there to pick it up. Â (Call it in, order online, maybe there could be an app for that) Â Both places have about the same order-to-food wait time. Â PP just has experience and Guy Fieri on their side.
The menu was simple to navigate, but flavorful and interesting, and gluten-free-friendly (another rarity for Des Plaines). Â It reminded me of a Burger version of Chipotle. Â You could make your own turkey or chicken or beef burger (or get a blend) with your choice of toppings and choice of bun, including gluten-free. Â They also had several pre-designed burgers to choose from. Â I had the breakfast burger without a bun (they were out of the gluten free buns). Â It was excellent! Â I will say that the patty was a little undercooked for my taste (red in the middle, pink throughout), but I still ate all of it, so it wasn't too undercooked. Â Maybe they could add a rarity option when they take the order? Â Sides are 3 varieties of fresh-cut fries or gluten-free cole slaw. Â I asked about the fries as they are not listed as gluten free, and from what I can ascertain, they should be fine to eat. Â They're fresh cut, not dredged in anything, and they only cook fries in their fryer (nothing with breading). Â They should totally advertise what kind of cheese they're using if it isn't a GFS generic, my pepper-jack was really creamy and rich. Â Egg was cooked just right, and the bacon was thick and perfectly cooked.
I agree they still have a couple kinks to work out, but I'll certainly be back!
While this is not the most extraordinary burger experience in Chicago. I will reserve that sort of title for the likes of Kuma's, Lockdown and Au Cheval, but this is a great place in the burbs that does burgers right. The meat was premium, the ingredients were not skimpy, the buns were fresh and large and the fries were fresh. On top of the the burger, the staff is incredibly friendly and interested in making your burger experience a good one.
When you go, realize there are only 6 chairs to sit at. However, don't let this discourage your as they pack the food nicely and with a smile.
There is no question about it, I would definitely recommend this place if you are in the burbs and looking for a reasonably priced burger that is open during regular hours unlike some establishment that is around the corner.
Ordered burger and fries with a glass of water.
Only a handful of stools along a stainless eating area by the window. The stainless sucks the heat out of your food. :( Looks fantastic, and may be better when not such a cold day. No eat in space or parking other than along a busy street.
Service was OK. Credit card machine has issues processing Discover and American Express. A reboot for my Discover and we were back in service.
Burger was well designed - great ingredients and went well together - and has potential. VERY overcooked burger - 'well done' - never asked how I wanted it cooked and I far prefer "medium rare", juicy and full of flavor. It seemed like a decent quality meat, but it was very dry, getting crusty with the overcooking. Chef kept picking up cheese and flipping burger, replacing as it cooked until the cheese melted. Seemed to be moderately proficient, though more in it for show with the extra movements and tapping of the spatula on the grill.
Fries were excellent, made fresh in house. Hot and tasty, though over salted.
Never got the water.
Why 2 stars? Service was OK, food was OK, but very expensive! Similar meal a few blocks away at Paradise Pup, with far better quality / preparation at about $2.50 less for a similar meal! I'll grant that there is more artistry in these burgers, but Paradise ranks for quality!
Suggestion to store owners - some lights would be great outside so your place stands out. The design is very modern and clean, and I love the wood look with metal logo - great design! The restaurant looks like an empty box when approaching after sunset, with dark outside walls and white interior.
We were looking forward to trying this new place and were very disappointed. I got the cheeseburger with general fixings, my husband got the Boy Bleu, and my son ordered the chicken burger with a variety of fixings. All three burgers were extremely dry and tasteless. My burger was crumbling. My husband went to the store to order and pick it up and he said everyone was nice and they seemed to run efficiently. But none of that matters if the burgers don't taste good and they didn't. All were really overdone. I will stick with Paradise Pup.
Review Source:I contacted American Wildburger and told them about the issue I had with my burger and fries. They remedied the situation and the second time around the food was much better. I got my lettuce, the burger was cooked to my liking (medium is the way to go!), and they toned down the salt. A+ for customer service.
I also got to chat with one of the chefs/owners and he was a really cool dude. It seems as though they're going to try to open up a few more of these places in the area and I hope it works out for them.
Have been here twice since they opened and I REALLY WANT to like it! Â
The ambiance is great...design is cool...menu looks good....great ingredients...very nice employees!
My first trip I wanted to try anything with a pretzel bun because the pictures looked awesome...but was disappointed at how dry and non-squishy the bun was. Â It was a lot of bread and not a lot of burger. Â The fries were great and the organic root beer in a bottle was awesome!
My second trip I ordered a burger with an egg bun...again, a lot of bun compared to burger. Â It seems like the 2 non gluten free buns they have are a little "bready", dry, and non-squishy...if you know what that means. Â I got the Chicago burger with the Gouda cheese and YUMMMM...and HUGE SLICE of Gouda!!!
My order did get messed up the second time which resulted in a burger missing from the bag...I think that everyone is new to putting in the orders on the iPad that they were too involved in typing in my first burger that they completely missed me saying the second. Â I would recommend reading back the orders to all customers like most other places. Â I would have noticed a whole burger missing and it would have prevented us from waiting another 9 minutes after the 9 minutes we waited for the first one!
Again, I want to really like this place and I probably will! Â Only a few weeks old and I can see these guys are working hard to fix all the kinks!!
Good Luck!
First of all, I am glad to see a new small burger business in the area. The owners were there when I got there, so they are in it to win.
I got the Cali burger and it was OK. I felt that the bun was a bit too dry and overall the bread overpowered all other ingredients. Although the Cali is a spicy burger, I would love to see a Mexican burger, i.e. something more spicy. Something with a Chipotle sauce, pepper jack cheese or blue cheese and avocado.
They have a Yelp check in offer that gives you a free bottled drink w/ purchase of a burger.
Overall, I would recommend people to try this place out and give them a break if there is lack of perfection as they are fresh from a grand opening.
I tend to eat out often, so I will be giving this place another try.
Went here over the weekend with my husband and we really enjoyed our meal. We're both burger junkies and I have no complaints for Wildburger. The meat is exceptionally fresh and cooked simply so the flavor of the meat is allowed to come through. Prices are actually a little cheaper than big chain burger joints in the area that boast a similar concept. But I have no issue paying a little extra for good quality meat. I look forward to returning to try some of their other burgers. I also have to say for the negative reviews, every business deserves some time to get their process down pat, American Wildburger has been open a few weeks. Opening a small business in a struggling economy is a brave thing. This particular area of Des Plaines is in desperate need of an infusion of places to eat, and new fresh businesses. I'm happy to support a place that serves good quality, tasty food!
Review Source:I got the Big Breakfast Burger and it was really, REALLY good. I went in on opening day and they were slammed so there was a little wait to get my food. The wait was totally worth it though. The Burger was *awesome*. The egg was super runny (just how I like it) and the salsa on the burger was perfect. They also gave me a lot of napkins.. and I really needed them. I had some of my boyfriend's cajun fries and they were really good too. I can't wait to go back!
Review Source:I had high hopes for this place because they put a lot of value on quality of food, but that means nothing when your burgers have no taste and you under cook a burger with turkey and chicken in it. If you order a burger from here all you will taste is bread, and you have a chance of getting sick from raw poultry. I saw the fries being made fresh and they were still soggy. So disappointed, I talked with the owners and they seemed nice, but they put out tasteless food at too high a price.
Review Source:So to start the place looks great! Cant really sit down but thats all good for me. The owner is a really nice guy!:). But i know food. I got a beef with cheddar, egg bun, mayo, RO, lettuce, bacon, fried egg. Â Yummm! Â Took it home with me (6blocks) open right away and yuck!! Â :(. Â They stack paddy on top so within 5 min lettuce was wilted, egg whites not cooked( looked like snot) and patty was dry and not seasoned at all. I hope the owner reads this. This is an easy fix and a must. If you only sell burgers and dont make them how 30-40% of people want them (rare) then you will cut your profits big time. Â Assemble the burger normal and cook meat to order!!!!
Review Source:Ok I've been waiting to try this place for sometime now. It was 1215pm lunch time on a Friday and it was slightly busy. When I order they were using an ipad as a register thought that was cool.NOT. when swiping my card the pad lost connection and she had to re-ask my order. It was her 1st day and she did a great job. So my order was in now I had to wait. I waited almost 10mins. Oh here's the funny part their signature food is the wildburger which at 1215pm they ran out. So my price of my lunch for burger and bottle of water almost $9 whoa tooo much. I got my food and left. Couldn't wait. Big disappointment. The pretzel bun cold. Bacon was cold and not cooked (so upset) burger no taste. Â I save your money go around the corner to paradise pup best burgers around.
Review Source:I stopped in for lunch today and tried the Philly burger and the Cajun fries.  The bun was probably the best part of the burger in my opinion.  The burger itself  lacked flavor and the meat was cooked through (no pink) and on the dry side . Organic or not once the burger is overcooked I'm out. The fries were not crispy but soggy and lukewarm from sitting under a heat lamp in a paper cup.  The onions and peppers on the burger were good but the cheese was on the opposite side of the burger patty so they could not all melt in together like a true Philly.
With only thirty minutes for lunch this is not the place for a quick lunch, twenty minutes wait time for the food left only ten minutes to eat and get back to work. Â No napkins in the bag also did not help.
I'll will go back again time permitting and try other burgers on their menu.  It's  only been a few days since they opened so I'll give them another shot but at 11 bucks for a burger and fries it better really wow me, so far not so much.
Also something on the menu bothered me. Â The menu showcases the Cali, the Philly, and the New Yorker burgers but what happened to the Chicago burger guys? I'm not saying I'm just saying, whatever its your business.
Highly recommended for a great meal. Juicy, hearty burgers and crisp, fresh cut fries. Try the "You're My Boy Blue" burger, served with bleu cheese and grilled onions. They also offer Oogave Organic pop, which is better tasting and less abrasive than Coke, and the option to build your own burger.
Very small floor space; maybe six stools, so definitely a take out place. Signature Burgers run about $7.50 a pop, but they are more than worth it, especially when served on a pretzel bun.
Parking can be a bit rough on the weekends, but there are plenty of side streets on which to park for a quick minute. And it's worth the wait for a burger; very tasty and very filling.
