Lalich Delicatessens

Actually Lalic is an ethnic serbian place. You can find more information about his place at the Serbian Yellow Pages as well. They have a business out in Lawrence Ave. My dad usually gets his magazines and news papers from the retail store.
He has alot of imports from all over the former ex yugoslav republics like serbia,bosnia, croatia, macedonia ..slovenia...Whatever you want. He has it all.
He has good poultry like different kinds of dried bacon .

Excellent chevapcici!!! Both Serbian and Romanian Style.  And AWESOME service!
I usually call ahead of time to order and then go pick them up on Friday afternoon or Saturday morning.  This Sunday we went to Church and then I realized I was craving for some chevapcicis.  It was 1:50 when I called them and asked what time they were closing (it was 2:00 PM) and if they have any left.  They had 30 pieces, Romanian style - with garlic.  They offered to wait for me after closing time!
I was 7 miles away and traffic was bad...  I got there at 2:17 PM, the owner and his wife were waiting for me.
One hour later, the chevapcicis were on the grill, sizzling :)

The best place with one of the nicest (if not the nicest) owners I have ever met.  The owner and counter guy Zoran is awesome!!  The food is awesome.  The family owned place (since 1991) is clean and well-stocked in everything from food to magazines and newspapers...You cannot ask for anything else.  If you like Serbian food or even if you do not know a Serbian from a Syrian go there and support!!  (And tell your friends of course)...

P.S.  They also have a their main location on Lawrence Ave (awesome as well) which used to be our family's main spot but with my own family I think this will be mine from now on...
