Went to eat here on a Sunday afternoon. Nice hostess sat us down, lots of waiting and rudeness ensued. Â Should it take a half hour to get a waitress' attention? We didn't think so. All the lovey dovey reviews posted here gives me the feeling that the owners and their friends wrote them. Â I doubt Yelp will post this.
Review Source:My first time here was on a Sunday morning around 11:00 am. The restaurant was relatively busy but not crowded. I ordered the vegetarian omelette that came with hash browns and pancakes. The food was good and the service was efficient. My coffee cup was refilled several times. The prices are reasonable and and the portions are generous. I usually go to Seven Brothers in Morton Grove but I am glad I came here. I will come back again to try their dinner menu.
Review Source:We're from Evanston, and we drive by this restaurant twice a week on the way to and from O'Hare. Â Last night around 8PM, we stopped by for a late dinner on the way home. Â The hostess, who we later learned is the owner along with her husband, was very welcoming . Â The atmosphere is pleasant for a casual restaurant, it's well lit and clearly kept very clean. Â
Great food, prompt courteous service and a reasonable price. Â What more can you ask for in a casual restaurant? Â
I saw where someone wrote about the large portions. Â I can attest to that. Â We both had leftovers which we'll be enjoying this weekend. Â

This was a terrific find, and I'm sure we'll be stopping again. Â We also like the idea that this is a small business where they're clearly working hard to offer a pleasant dining experience. Â The owner was telling us that her husband is the cook, and their children work with them as well.
