Niles Grill

Very accommodating with menu substitutions. Nice staff and coffee always full!!! Well done!!

I've been here twice now for breakfast and I'm very happy with this place.  Now this place would be considered a "dive". You will not go here for the atmosphere. I had an omelet and ham off the bone and eggs. Both were very good. The portions were big enough and the prices are very reasonable. I liked the potatoes with the crispy edges. Years ago I went to their old place further South on Milwaukee ave., and I'm pleased to say their breakfast is still very good. Can't comment on their lunch, never had it. This place has good parking since they have their own lot.

After a movie, my kids and I came into Niles Grill for lunch. The order: a grilled cheese sandwich and two hot dogs. The waitress informed me that I couldn't order a hot dog for myself, because hot dogs are available only on the kids menu. I asked if I could pay extra for an "adult" hot dog. Uh, no. So now I'm sitting here watching my kids eat. I hope the waitress wasn't hoping I'd revise my order to accommodate thier  "rules" because that didn't happen. I'll eat at home I guess. I could tell you what I *really* think of Niles Grill, but you can probably guess that for yourself.
