AMF Commack Vet Lanes

Much like Sayville (<a href="http://www.yelp.com/biz/amf-bowling-centers-sayville#hrid:8JQ0P-DZmNmlh4Fks7ll-g">http://www.yelp.com/biz/…</a>), AMF Commack Lanes recently got a makeover (in much the same style).  Plasma TVs with varied animation styles and added features (like pitch speed in M.P.H.) entertain and show you how you're doing, aside from keeping score.  There are about 40 lanes here, with a good availability for open bowling. . . good for kids and groups.  There are daytime leagues for old timers, and M-F rates are $3.25 a game.  A nice looking pro-shop and contemporary video arcade.  A comfortable 'modern' experience, though it doesn't have any kind of odd electricity or vibe that's interesting out of the ordinary.  Even the house balls are uniform, rather new, and totally devoid of character.
