Nicky's Of Centerport

Dined here a few nights ago and overall experience was just eh.  Kitchen stays open until midnight which is a huge plus because other than fast food there isn't much opened past ten on week nights.  The place is deceiving, looks dinky from the outside but theres a decent size bar in the front with a dining area in the back.  The place is out of date and is in serious need of a remodeling but who cares, it's Centerport.  Tap beer selection is pretty minimal and they have your standard domestic and imported bottled beer selection.  The best part of the meal was the HUGE loaf of bread that was brought out before the food came. It was enormous and warm and everything bread should be.  Food took forever to come out, about a half hour and there was only one other table in the place.

Our dinners weren't good.  Overly salted and just very very blah.  Raspberry Vinaigrette smelled and tasted like nail polish remover.  It was just bad.  Would come back for drinks, but wouldn't have the food again.

Fantastic wings... very meaty and not breaded.  The "Hot" weren't very hot, but I guess that is subjective.  Kid friendly dining room with great menu options.
