One of the few bars in the little town of Greenlawn. Â Located literally "Off Broadway" this small bar has been recently renovated and is a pleasant surprise. Â The bar is deceiving, looks a lot smaller from the outside but as you enter there is a large bar with space in the back for darts and standing room. Â The bartenders are always attentive and on top of their buybacks which is always a huge plus. Â The tap selection isn't bad, lately I have noticed they have been trying to add more craft beers to their list. Â The bathroom (something I always have to check out in a restaurant or bar) are SPARKLING clean, almost looks like the bathroom I have in my own house. Â If you're looking to get away from the typical Huntington village scene then come to this bar. Â Low key, plenty of booze, open late and lots of fun. Â
No food here, but often they order Wings from Lisa's Buffalo Grille across the way to be delivered, and they are GOOD.
I have a serious love-hate relationship with this place. Â I hate it because it became a mini highschool reunion for me when I was on break from college. Â I loved it because I went there to see all my old friends from highschool. Â I have a special talent in having it both ways.
The proprietor used this establishment as a way to showcase all of his sports memorabilia, so there are many interesting autographed pictures and whatnot on the walls, and usually some sporting event du-jour on the TV.
Wingnight is wednesday 8-10 and for $15, you can have all the bud light you can drink and all the wings you can eat. Â The Pub (as we like to call it) doesn't actually have a kitchen, but when you order food they deliver it from Buffalo Grille across the street.
They also have a patio outside.
The bathrooms are SUPER nice.
Although I come here much less often than I used to, I'm sure sometime not too far in the future I can be seen stumbling home down Broadway full of cheap beer and honey barbecue wings.
