Fun, very intimate bar- don't bring the "whole" gang. great for one-on-one, two couples at best. Current tapas chef does a great job, drinks are stiff as they should be for the $. Note, that the new owners no longer do happy hour and there is no free wi-fi as listed in the current description.
Review Source:Bin 56 is one of my favorite Wine Bar in Long Island. Â EXCELLENCE TAPAS and CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Â You must have Olive Blend and Tuan Tarter, and Spiced Chicken Skewers!!! Â Yummy
Olive Blend  Marinated in orange and thyme
Tuna Tartar Fiji apples, walnuts, scallions, plantain chips
Spiced Chicken Skewers roasted paprika peanut curry, humus
It's small but great! I'm not a wine person and this was my first wine bar. I sought a new atmosphere rather than the same old ear bleeding bar to catch up with a friend. The bartender who was a young guy, was so knowledgeable and helpful! Fantastic customer service, I asked him for a recommendation as I don't know much about wine and usually get a headache from it almost instantly. Â He suggested one for me and explained the wine and no headache during or after drinking! Also had some tea as well which is nice because you can't get tea at a regular bar.
I didn't have any food but maybe next time, it's definitely worth checking out and they are open until 2 which is great. Great service.
I will definitely go back!
