Finley's of Greene St

I've read & re-read all the negative reviews of Finley's and IM BAFFLED!! Did we go to the same place? I think not. The most recent review (from last week) is from a friend of a dude who got thrown out " cuz some girl said he grabbed her." But of course the reviewer said it didn't happen that way. Quite honestly--I'm inclined to believe the professional door staff. They're sober and they're there to do a job. I'm a female, and I go out often with my girlfriends. We all know the " handsy guy" at the bar! Ughhhhh. IM THRILLED to hear that Finleys is so diligent as to keep a list of patron who are no longer welcome. As the 'friend/reviewer' said - Finley's declined to let their friend in, even though he was part of "a large group and  lost out on $600" plus hot chicks" .. So it's CLEARLY about something this guy did to earn him a spot on the "denied access list". GOOD FOR FINLEYS FOR STICKING TO THEIR GUNS! And good for all the ladies who go here that have to deal with one less Mr. Handsy while trying to have a good time! If I could give 6 stars just for that reason alone- I would!
This place ROCKS- you should definetly go!

I've been going to this bar for a long time and have never caused trouble. I've always had a good time and its a good dance scene on some nights. I go last night (the place is kinda dead) with about 10 of my friends and one friend is denied. (Quick story- he was put on a "list" because some girl pushed him, he didn't touch her and just left and now he's not allowed in- to sum it up) anyway so Finley's just lost out on 10 people- 8 hot girls and about 600 bucks on a slow night. My friend is a great guy and the last person to start shit- he's a volunteer local fireman and the best guy ever. Finley's won't even talk to him about this. So hey Finley's let's chat!

They most likely won't respond to this so I plan on bashing them till I get results! The bouncers are so lame and the whole list idea for something they don't even know about is lame- its not nyc people. I understand they are trying to keep the place safe but hear a guy out and give him another chance. They weren't that great anyway- bad bands and too full of themselves!

So I'm here for a beer crawl and I tried the Greenport Leaf Pile, the Blue Point Toasted Lager and the Captain Lawrance Pumpkin.  All 3 were fine beers, and my favorite was the Greenport!
