We knew they would be busy in October so we planned on a wait. However our wait was only 20 minutes. Our server was prompt with drinks but she had no personality. The food arrived quickly and was wonderful but prices have certainly increased. It was a great first experience for my mother who has never been there. Fall is the best time to visit and is beautifully decorated.
Review Source:The breakfast buffet at the Artist's Colony is worth about what you pay for it: around $8. The eggs are powdered and taste somewhat watered down - they were very pale yellow and had little flavor on the morning I visited. The breakfast potatoes could've been warmer. Very little, if anything, tastes as though it's made in-house; perhaps the pancakes (plain) are the only exception. The buttermilk biscuits were bland; the fried "biscuits" are just fried dough coated in cinnamon sugar. One highlight: the apple butter is delicious!
