Ascend 650

I went when this place was located in Palo Alto at Club Ilusion. It was all right. When I went, there weren't a lot of people there for such an awesome space. But when I went, it was free for ladies (not sure if its for every event).

They had a wet t-shirt contest and a mardi gras thing going on when I went. Uh, it was kinda weird cos they pressured the girls to take off their bra and take off their shirt once their t-shirt was wet. I thought it was pretty disrespectful because of the pressuring.

Also, a guy that worked there was a really big jerk to my friend. He danced with her for a bit, and then randomly made out with her without her consent. He came back later after we chased him off and danced with her again. This time, he grabbed her by the neck and tried to stick his tongue in her ear.

It seems like a lot of the staff on Ascend 650 are really chauvinistic jerks.

I went when it was 18+, though I'm not sure if it is always going to be 18+.
