At Random

I usually love this place however I have just experienced the worst customer service in history ever! We said we had 10 in our group turns out they can't do bigger than 6 so I asked to split us but keep us close. They put us across the room instead of tables next to each other, even though they were open. The owner was complaining to the waitress about our big group and when we first got there only 3 of us were there and he said to her they shouldn't have seated us in case the others didn't arrive. Then we actually had 12 not 10. The owner started to count how many were at one table and said no 4 here and 6 there then he said wait you have more than 10, so I said sorry I was wrong on our count. He then snapped about it and said we could leave. Mind you that drinks are $9-$20 each. After sitting there for about 5 minutes deciding what to do stay or leave, the waitress finally came over and apologized and explained how his wife didn't come to work and he was grumpy and took our order. We stayed for 1 against my better judgment.

Good place to come with a date, even  a better place to visit with a group.

My drinks have ranged from great to way too sweet, but it doesn't really matter. Style is substance at At Random.

If you're looking to smooth your way with the lady, this is the place to take her! It's dark, romantic and quiet. Perfect to get to know each other and consume some yummy over priced drinks! The menu is unique and descriptive but again, pricey. When I went, my first thought was how sketchy it seemed but after meeting some of the staff there, they were friendly and I managed to make myself comfortable. Overall, I wouldn't go there for a hangout or girls night. It's more for the lovely dovey date scene. One of my friends decided she didn't want any alcohol beverage and was informed that she was required to buy a drink for dining in. Decided on a small glass of orange juice and was charged $3!! No freaking way! Also, cash only. I wouldn't mind going again since there isn't a lot of places that makes an extensive amount of choices on blended drinks. Wouldn't say it would be a place I'd recommend, maybe just for the dating scene though.
