The place has presence and the dance floor is spacious. VIP doesn't feel too important and the bartenders are not good. Â They micro measure your drinks in very small portions packed with too much ice. Â
The DJ fails again to throw diversity types of modern Latin music. Â This location has a history of poor management closing down several times.
The lighting is good, the dimmer the better as long as it stays sexy.
Owners should pay close attention to their competitors. Â Parking should be free in this location.
ANOTHER THING...they hold a re-entry repay policy which will promote people not returning. Â This is bad business.
Well, as my girl B would say, "this place is Chongaliscious". We were only there for at the most 2 hours, then we decided the music was just not doing it for us. It is mostly Reggaeton, but it was the DJ that was really getting on my last nerve. I can honestly say it was an OK place to go and at least I can say I have been there, and I have been to worse locations.
Parking was annoying, this is a public lot and you have to pay. The "good" spot is $10, so we forgo-ed the cost and parked near Wendy's.
It was 4 of us girls and the cover was suppose to be $20 a head, we talked the rep for the group that was suppose to be performing that night down to $30 for all of us. It just was not worth it. We even went there in our chancletas (flip flops) and jeans. :)
You must be 21 to enter, you get a wrist band after the ID check, then you go to the window and pay the cover charge. You can pay cash or charge. Inside is looks like a big open room. with at least 2 bars. One bar is a cash only bar, so be advised.
As usual I did not partake in the alcohol, so I had me a water with extra rocks! We didn't even get to see who was suppose to be performing or maybe it was the DJ that was suppose to be the performer, don't know. Anyways, we listened, danced, hung out with our work baseball team, drank, and rolled home.
If you like Reggaeton and wanna see some "Chongalicious" chicas, hit this place up at least once while you are in the Doral area.
Note: For non Spanish speakers, employees speak English.
