Well I stopped by today to try it out, well I walked in and there was only 1 waitress working, and there was about maybe 4 tables with customers and they all had a dreadful look on there faces as if they have been waiting for ever, needless to say I left, if this place stays open another 6 months I will be surprised
Review Source:Meeting some friends to watch a game, our friend suggested this place as it was close to his home and every other place was packed to the walls. Â As we drove over, my beloved yelp told me after reading the few reviews that this place was not going to be good. Â When we arrived they had a huge projector screen for the game and it was not crowded at all. Score!
The girl's dress like they should work at Hooters, cute outfit's if you do not mind crap hanging out everywhere. eek.....
Our waitress came over took our beer order and when she returned with my bucket of beer, it was the wrong beer. Â When we told her, she said " oh we do not have that kind" Â Great, why the hell did you not tell us that. Â So now we had two pitchers of beer and a bucket, so the guy's all dug in to drink it all. Â I asked her for water for now. So of course I never got my water, hub's had to walk over to the bar to grab me bottle's of beer and water because we could not get our waitress attention. Mind you three different times he had to walk over to the bar to get me beer.
So, she finally came back over to our table, took our food order, which consisted of wings and I ordered a chicken sandwich. Â This place is a great sport's bar with good beer specials, but the service sucks! And I mean bad, bad, awful service. Â It seems they do not care at all nor do they have enough staff. Â Our food arrives and my chicken sandwich was hot but my fries were ice cold.
I wait for her to walk past and I very nicely said "sweetie my sandwich is hot and fresh but my fries are cold, can you please get me some hot fries". Â She cops this attitude immediately and said in a very loud tone with both hands on her hips " the kitchen is busy and well you are not gonna get any". Â LOL, OK chick wanna bet.......You have just spoke to the wrong person in the wrong tone. My friend sitting across from me was like oh shit, this is not gonna be good.
I looked at her and very loudly back said " listen I am paying for this meal and you will get me some hot fries now" period. Â She rolled her eye's all pist off and walked away. Â I sat there in disbelief and was ready to blow a gasket. Â Bottom line, they were NOT that busy, they obviously have no clue how to run a business. Â About three minutes later she walked over with my fresh hot fries, would not even look at me and tossed them on the table., and walked away quickly. Â At this point I am glad she walked away because it was not going to be pretty. Â I wanted to grab her and smack the you know what out of her.
More friends came to meet us and trying to get more food and beer ordered was a nightmare! She did not want to come back to our table. We watched the game, had a blast trying to forget how horrible the service was. It is a real shame because the wing's were very good, great place to watch a game but I would never ever come back here.
The guy's all left her a very good tip which pist me off, because she so did not deserve it. Â They were all just happy since we made our own fun and had a great time but she lucked out since I had nothing to do with paying the bill. Â And this is the reason why server's treat people like this when they are receiving good tips. No lessoned learned.
Never go here, this place is bad bad bad!!! Â One of the worst server's I have ever experienced. Â And really all of them seemed to be the same. I watched a bunch of people walk out because they could not get served. Zero stars all the way!
The experiences shared so far by reviewers Rene S. and Andres S. are spot-on. Â Since I pass this establishment daily on my way to and from work and also became curious during my occasional visits to the next-door Dunkin' Donuts, I figured I'd give it a try.
Unfortunately, I also persuaded friends to join me.
After two visits-- both on Fridays-- around lunch hour, I can decisively write the following.
If we received any greeting upon arrival yesterday, it was by the blank stare from the hostess. Â Not sure what her issue was, but as they say, 'the lights were on, but no one was home'. Â The wait staff are friendly, and I believe well-meaning, but clueless where it comes to taking orders, remembering them and fulfilling them. Â It also seems as if they are not very familiar with the menu or menu options.
During both visits, neither waitress seemed to realize the side salads were an option with some of the sandwiches, in lieu of fries. Â Also, on both occasions, we had a prolonged discussion trying to explain that we'd like the vinaigrette dressing, what vinaigrette dressing is, and that - if it's too complicated, we'll simply have something else on our salads.
On both visits, the orders were confused. Â We received the sunrise burger instead of the sunrise chicken the first time. Â Yesterday, we received a chicken wrap instead of the buffalo chicken sandwich. Â So, each time, the friend I was dining with ended up accepting a plate that was not ordered. Â Since we are usually on a time limit, we opted not to return the order to the kitchen.
The waitress, on both occasions was very apologetic. Â After the second experience mimicking the first, apologies for botched orders only go so far and very likely WILL NOT cause us to return to this restaurant.
If there is any management, please-- for your own good-- give your staff the benefit or more training, especially if you hired inexperienced staff.  It is to your own detriment to provide mediocre guest experiences.  You typically only get one chance to properly cater to new  first-time visitors and convert them to regular patrons.  Screw it up and you will NOT gain loyalty or repeat visits.
On neither visit did I notice anyone resembling a manager or someone who might provide the necessary guidance for the waitresses. Â How about a manager to follow-up with guests and gather some valuable feedback during the critical initial stages for a new sports bar/restaurant?
The food was tasty; seasonings and sauces were good. Â Portions were small.
The theme of this establishment is sports bar, and I visited primarily for a meal. Â The restaurant is adequately covered by ten or more flat screen TVs, with sports paraphernalia adorning the walls. Â Oddly, there are a few rather large (perhaps R/C-?) airplanes suspended precariously by wires from the ceiling-- I couldn't help wondering what might happen should the wire supporting the tail give out and cause one of these to crash into unsuspecting guests below.
The tables are small, and along with the dated wood paneling and flimsy wire paper-towel roll holders reek of cheap. Â The tables are crammed too close together and do not afford much room when seated.
May be a decent hangout for a pitcher or two, but not a place I'd recommend- Â Wings, Pizza 'N' Things of Doral at NW 41st off the Turnpike is a mediocre stop for a lunch.
