Auntie Em's has the feel of a mom and pop establishment though I cannot testify that it is one. I have always been intrigued by the shop, but have been apprehensive because they place always looks dead. Auntie Em's custard is really thick and satisfying, though they do have only a limited number of flavors, but my thought is that fewer choices are better and usually means better quality food.
As I said earlier, the place was completely dead, but I'm not really sure why. The ice cream was good enough and I'm thinking customer traffic will pick up later on in the season. I do have to say that the service was a little slow, but I can't complain too much because they were nice enough and they sold quality ice cream at a reasonable price.
