First time to dine here. It was easy to make a reservation and we were seated immediately as soon as we arrived. Our server was very friendly. We ordered the calamari and was served with a side of bread. The calamari was just ok and it needs improvement specially with the batter. I ordered the veal in lemon caper sauce and it was pretty good. My hubby ordered their seafood linguine and thoroughly enjoyed it. For dessert, we ordered the zabaglione and tartufo and they were both delish.
Review Source:"Million dollar" view with chain quality food.
REFUSE being seated in the back section of the restaurant, it has all the charm of a walk in closet. We asked to move to a window seat and the manager asked us to carry his menus to our new seat. Later the manager ran outside to move his red Acura to an available parking spot blocking the view of the fountain outside (really ...? ) Â
Calamari was rubbery and the sauce was bland (not fresh).
Entrees were nothing special, mediocre at best mahi special. I did enjoy my penne but penne is the PB&J of Italian cuisine. Â
Good wait staff and great views of Carmel if you are lucky enough not to end up in the back.
Don't forget to ask for bread, if you don't it will never come.
