I have been going here about every other month for a weekday lunch. Â Every other time I've gone I've had the Indonesian Peanut Saute, which is delish. Â Today I got the Japanese Pan Noodles with marinated steak. Â The noodles had a dry burnt taste that did not agree with me. Â The was good and tender. Â I might have to try other items on the menu before I further judge.
Review Source:Love the mac and choose with mushrooms! Plus, they have my fave brand of sweet tea!!! Can't get any better than that! The prices are fairly reasonable. In fact, if you get the regular bowl, it's so big that most likely you'll take some to go. The desserts were just ok for me. I tried the rice krispies and it was just alright. Perhaps, that's one area they can improve on.
Review Source:This is the first time I've been to this restaurant, but its been open for a while and I just didn't get a chance to check it out.
The Food: I originally ordered the Japanese Pan Noodles, but they ran out of noodle for that so I ordered the Pad Thai instead with Chicken Noodle Soup (they gave me a couple for that cause they ran out, which is pretty awesome). The noodles are cook as the order come in so is fresh. The taste of the Pad Thai was pretty good, though I don't think it have much of a Thai taste to it, but is still pretty good (I like rice noodle, so I guess I am somewhat bias...). The chicken noodle soup was alright, wouldn't say is the best, but is not the worse either, it was average. I will want to go back and try the Japanese Pan Noodle.
The Environment: It was a pretty good environment. They have indoor and outdoor seating so you can sit outside and enjoy the weather if is nice. They have glass window all around so inside was well lit. Overall the environment was pretty good.
The Soda Machine...yes, this is a very awesome soda machine, it have mostly all the fountain drinks and flavors all in one (see my picture of it). So for example, if you want Fanta, you can select Fanta, and then they let you choose flavors like peach, strawberry, lime, etc. This is the first time I've seen something like this, but is a pretty genius idea...
