  Quiet dining area with a small bar.  There was no host or hostess.  I stood there waiting to be seated.  The bartender saw me standing there and did not call anyone.  Only one couple in the dining area.  
  
  Appetizer: hummus and pita bread-  bland and tasted store bought
  Entrée- chicken marsala- breaded chicken with a thick gravy sauce, mixed veggies and roasted red potatoes.  Funny the waitress said the sauce was homemade?  I hope they don't tell their customers when it comes out of a can or jar.
  
  Conveniently located directly next door to the Courtyard Hotel.  However you can go across the street for other dining options including chain restaurants like Olive Garden and BJ's Brewery.

  I drove from downtown tonight to Avanti on Memorial and had the most amazing filet mignon I've ever had!  The new manager, Don, is very impressive and so professional.  I'll definately be back !  The gelato sampler for dessert was so delicious!!!

  I stay at the hotel when I visit OKC for business.   I had never eaten at the restaurant because of the previous poor yelp ratings.  On my last visit we noticed a customer next to us had ordered a filet.  It looked delicious and he confirmed it was cooked to perfection.  We decided to give it a try and for $24 it was fantastic.  The bartenders and staff are always friendly and they will even turn up the volume on the TV so you can watch your favorite game (other local bars will not do this i.e. Twin Peaks, BJ's Brew house).  I will definitely eat there again on my next visit.

  Avanti is a quasi restaurant/lounge located in the same building as the Marriott Courtyard Oklahoma City North hotel.  I stay at the hotel on a regular basis for business and have visited Avanti on several occasions to watch a game and have a beverage or two.   Typically there are guests and locals in attendance, but rarely do I see many customers in the restaurant seating area.  On occasion, I do see patrons eating appetizers and meals in the lounge.  The atmosphere has a Tuscan feel, is appropriately lit and is nicely decorated.  Staff have always been attentive in the lounge, but can't comment on service in the restaurant seating area, as I've never sat down for a meal at Avanti.  On my last visit, a business colleague and myself choose to have a couple of appetizers and a beer (good happy hour specials).  Both appetizers were tastefully severed and palatable.  Appetizer portion sizes were on the small side, but the presentation and taste was very good.  We noticed another business traveler who was seated next to us how his filet mignon tasted?  It looked terrific and he said, it tasted great.  The entree was under $30 bucks and portion size and accompaniments didn't look as though you would still be hungry after finishing your meal.  Since the NBA finals were on that night and they were going to have the game showing on the lounge TV, my colleague and I decided to stay for dinner.  We both ordered the filet mignon entrees.  Both our meals came out perfectly cooked and tasted good.  After this experience, I just may dine here more often when in town for business.

  This restaurant is a disaster. They serve steaks with little glass houses on them and you have to remove the glass house yourself. The grilled "prawns" on a stick were so overcooked I could not pull them off the stick or eat them.  We had to practically beg for service. Absolutely awful restaurant.

  Bought a Groupon to this place just to check it out.  Will not return.  Appetizer was made with some form of pre-packaged guac.  Was pretty but tasted BAD.   The seafood pasta was really as bad as i have ever had.  Tomato paste would have been a better sauce.  And service was awful.  Tried to cover a table of 20+ and other tables with one waiter.  Uh,  we were there 2 hours and saw him 3 times?   Maybe if you want a beer out on their patio but avoid for a normal dinner!!
