Belle Isle is a GREAT place to watch a game! Tv's everywhere, lots of seats, HUGE bar area, Belle Isle has 2 floors, botto floor for dining, top floor for bar area. I have only been on the upper portion of the establishment and I have found it to be ample for what i was designed for.
There are 2 bars, 1 for what I believe the "non smoking" side & the other for more the smoking side, there are HUGE pool tables in the back, a shuffle board, and other cool part is it is of course part brewery, so you can see the kettles in a clear window that are used in the brew making process, they also have these cool jug type things they sell with their logo on them
The only thing this place is missing is a dart board and it would be the PERFECT bar scene area. Also the food is pretty damn good for bar food, I have had a Brautwurst basket which consisted of 2 brats & french fries all for around $7'ish! Also their deserts are pretty dang good, I had a brownie/ice cream desert here that was very good.
Other cool thing... they have Bingo on Tues, bar trivia on wed's , and have live bands playing on the weekends so it's definetly a cool place to come to!
Belle isle is a pretty good place for a beer and a meal. The crowd is all over over the place. It seems to attract groups of all ages and types. The food is not bad. I had the BBQ pizza and scarfed it down. The mozzarella they use is very good and they are not shy about throwing it on. That was a big plus. The house brews are all good. I am a big fan of the Irish Stout... Might as well try them all, eh? The waitress that took care of us was as sweet as they come. She was very attentive and happy to help. I like good service...
Review Source:The main reason I like this place is the beer. Â It's a microbrewery, so they make their own. Â I like the stout and the amber. Â The last time I was there, they had this brown americano beer that was pretty good. Â It's cheap, and gets the job done.
The food is okay, but nothing to rave about.
It's a pretty good atmosphere, though.
