There's not much wrong with this Irish style pub in the rejuvenated Midtown section of Oklahoma City. Â The first two floors offer smoke free seating with plenty of tables, booths, and bar seating, with dart boards in the back of the second floor. Â The third floor has its own full bar and is a smoking floor with cigars welcome.
Review Source:This is my favorite place to drink beer. Great selection. Great pub food as well. The staff know their beer and will offer recommendations. My wife says the "charburger" is her favorite. I've tried several items on the menu and have never been disappointed.
McNellie's is also family friendly. We've gone for lunch on the weekends and it's nice and laid back.
My friends and I occasionally meet here for a couple of hours to have a couple of beers and talk. Â It's a nice little pub, with 3 levels so you can choose if you want the bar atmosphere or more of a restaurant feel. Â The menu has some good stuff on it, but it is a little pricy for the quality. Â I don't come here for the food, though.
McNellie's features a large beer menu that includes several taster flights (about 5 different beers in 3 oz. taster glasses). Â Also, McNellie's has a few scotch taster flights you can choose if you like scotch. Â
I like the beer choices, but McNellie's is a little more expensive than I would like. Â That's the only real thing that keeps me from coming here more often. Â It can also be a pain to park and find a table sometimes, as it can get crowded.
