The Blue Note is alright, although it is not a place I frequent. I usually only go here if someone drags me here but I'm never disappointed. The service is quick and the bartenders are nice. I don't like this place on the weekend because it gets way too crowded and smoky.
They have good drinks and you gotta love a place that serves local beer and Blanche de Bruxelles and has TWO FREE POOL TABLES. They also have live music on the weekends but there is usually a cover charge if you come after 8 pm. And it isn't that I don't like supporting local musicians, it is just that I would rather spend my money on booze. Plus there are lots of hipsters. Ehhhhh...
