I always have fun at Red Piano, especially if Christy is working the bar. When I worked in the First National Center and parked in the Santa Fe, I literally had to walk past it to get home, so it was a great place to stop for an afterwork aperitif.
Just as it was in the hotel's storied heyday during the first oil boom, in it's latest incarnation as one of the nicest hotels, and thus hotel bars in OKC, this is one of the best places to people-watch in OKC. It's always fun to try and spot stars in town for concerts, ball games or charity events.
It gets a little loud at times, but don't all bars? The last time I stayed at the hotel for a wedding, we pretty much closed down the bar, until I commanded the piano man, "Play me out to Tiny Dancer!!!" And he did, and I'll never forget it.
