Three visits in the last two months and the ribs have been consistently great. I would venture to say they are the best ribs in the mid-cities. No membrane, tender (with the right amount of pull from the bone) and a great flavor the negates the need for sauce. The brisket has improved over my initial visit. It has been moist, with a good flavorful bark. In addition the staff is very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend.
Review Source:I am a BBQ fiend...seriously the biggest critic of BBQ. Â 6 years I have been in TX and found very few consistently good places WITH great sides AND SERVICE.
First visit to new owner/business was great! Â All meats just right and all sides were good. Â I will be back often.
Parking is still cramped but next time I will ride the motorcycle.
Brand new place. Unfortunately they have some work to do. Tried the sliced brisket, German sausage and pulled pork. The sausage was pale and didn't seem to have a very strong flavor. Â They need to take a trip to Central Texas. The brisket had some bark but very little flavor out side of the bark. The most disappointing was the pulled pork. Dry and had been sitting in a warmer way too long the pork was almost inedible. The coleslaw was prepackaged with a thin sauce and not a hint of vinegar.
