This review applies to all the BYBs in town, a they're pretty much the same.
This is a new chain to me and my family, and man, I hope it takes off and spreads. It's truly a better burger than the average fast food place, for maybe a buck extra per meal. There's a true back yard grill taste to everything, and the way they dress burgers up here is pretty great. I tried the Hawaiian burger last night and was blown away by how the whole meal changed; a place like Red Robin--which I hate--puts a slice of pineapple on and calls it Hawaiian, while BYB really redoes the whole thing, marinating their beef in teriyaki and adding a bunch of other toppings (like Swiss cheese). I just can't imagine doing McDs, BK, or Wendy's again with BYB in town, even I have to drive a little farther.
The place is nice inside, too, and the people are always friendly.
Amazing, simply amazing. They take such as easy concept as a burger and are able to transform it into an incredible meal! The waffle fries top it off for me as well. Never have tried their seasoned fries yet. The all beef hot dogs (add a slice of cheddar cheese) on that steamed bun are very good too. The burgers are to die for. Love the use of red onion. Adds a lot of flavor and color instead of just normal onions. The fixings are all large, never minced into tiny slivers like most places. They do a bang up job here. I'm very impressed, really wish they'd put one in Omaha.
