Bambinos Restaurant

Just an FYI this location closed in early October and they are only running their store on Grand in West Des Moines now.

My husband and I live close enough to this restaurant that we could easily ride bikes or walk if we wanted.  We have been here twice since we moved into the area in October.  The parking lot ranges from a few cars to full (especially Friday nights).  It really depends on the weather and what is going on in the area.

The first visit we made here, my husband and I both got the buffet.  The second time we ordered off the menu.  Regardless of which you get, the rolls are delicious!  The buffet was just ok and I probably would have given it 3 stars.  Ordering off the menu was better.  I had the Cavatelli Casserole with Alfredo Sauce and I really enjoyed it (worth 4 stars)!  The salad that came with it had some great Parmesan dressing!  My husband also enjoyed his Ravioli.  Overall, experience would be a 3.5.

Is this our first choice for dinner, probably not but it is still a nice, nearby place to go.
