We've been to the Chicken Coop several times for one reason... the wings. The wings are definitely some of the best in town. The rest of the food is pretty standard but the wings are by far the best thing on the menu.
The service has generally been good although during a big sporting even you will run into the standard wait.
In addition, the staff has always been good to accommodate my toddler son and will interact with him which is a huge plus in this mom's book.
I've been to the Chicken Coop twice and I truly believe they serve the best wings I've ever eaten. Â Like several other reviews have alluded to, the wings are broiled / grilled instead of fried. Â This adds a nice caramelization to the sauces and adds a nice smokiness to them. Â If you like wings, you're in for a treat. Â The fried pickles were fantastic, too.
As for the quality of the service, several other reviews complained about it, but my own experiences don't back this up. Â I had above-average service both times I visited. Â The servers checked in often, everything was delivered quickly and correctly.
If you like wings, you owe it to yourself to try the Chicken Coop. Â They're worth the trip just for their uniqueness, and if you're like me, you may just find your new favorite wing place.
