My friend told me Lone Star is better than Texas Roadhouse.. hmm... both of us ordered the special dinner set.. (cost 2 for $25.. with an appetizer, 2 entrees, 1 dessert)... We ordered spinach and artichoke dip as appetizer... and the triple chocolate cake (something like that) as dessert... since it's a steakhouse... my friend ordered the sirloin with steak soup as a side dish.. I ordered steak chop with the famous sweet potato top with cinnamon and butter under my friend recommendation...
I love the bread that they served... it's soft with cinnamon butter... (can't beat texas roadhouse)... but it's still good... As for the entrees... we both ordered medium well.. but it came out to be over cook... it tasted more like well done instead of medium well.. the steak soup tasted like packet soup... no big deal... and I don't really like the steak chop... it tasted like a bunch of beef mince meat... but I love the mushroom sauce and extra mushrooms I ordered as the steak topping... but it's a little too salty for me.. but it's good... the sirloin is.. errrr... ok??? Since the price is not very expensive... we can't expect much?? but I know my friend is definitely more "picky" than me... he said it's not really good this time... :( I am a big fan of sweet potato... but I guess they put too much butter and cinnamon sugar.. As I said.. I love it to be simple... the butter and cinnamon sugar took away the original taste of sweet potato.. well.. personal preference.. My friend loves it.. but I think it's ok.. I don't really like it...
We are too full for dessert... So we get it to go... I tried a few bits of the cake... It tasted like normal chocolate cake.. not big deal.. I think I might be able to bake a better cake.. :P (not boasting myself.. but that's according to my friend.. :p)
service is normal... it's good... and since it's cheap.. so I think 3 stars is perfect... If the price is expensive.. I might just give 1 or 2 stars...
