Banana Boat Restaurant & Lounge

The Banana Boat perpetuates my theory that almost all oceanfront restaurants suck.

The service is always spotty. The food is atrocious and the prices are usually outrageous.

You're paying for the view and you get a decent one at that, but that's it. I've been here twice and the first time we had a bunch of appetizers that tasted like Mrs. Paul's but with extra freezer burn. The other time I ordered the fish tacos, they were ehhh.

You can go but expect a dump on a dock with plenty of mediocrity about to happen.

Worst meal we have had in a long time.

Conch fritters for an appetizer, coconut shrimp and stuffed shrimp as our entrees.  Nothing was gross but  none of it was good either. Would never eat here again.

Was prepared for mediocrity but the crab encrusted snapper is great!
