Coffee shop with craft brews? YES! That is exactly what this java junky Craft Brewja needs in her life!!
My new job takes me up in this area every week or two, and I have fallen in love with the Vanilla Chai Latte with almond milk here. Their chai is the best I have had so far, and the almond milk doesn't get that 'roasted' taste with it, although I did notice that taste with the cappuccino so it must have to do with the temperature difference in espresso vs tea.
I also joined Marisol and Glenn up here one night for a Cigar City tap takeover that was pretty great. A good crowd, and some great brews on draft. Their selection of craft beer is always impressive and from what I understand, there are a lot of tap takeover nights.
The only reason I don't give them more stars is that I wish their food menu was a little more to write home about. It's a little lack luster, but it's not bad so you can nibble on something with your beverage. I just wouldn't consider this place as a destination for food, so if you are really hungry grab a bite elsewhere first and then head over here to hang out with a beverage.
Coffee is meh, Oceana much better. Â The sleeves do not absorb the heat and so you get burned until the coffee cools.
The service is not friendly and the staff is kind of snobby. Â The bathroom sink in the girls is clear glass so you can see the mild growing at the seal with the countertop.
It's not worth the drive, if you are local maybe but as I am not I would rather make my way to my fave coffee shop in Tequesta which is still far for me but better overall.
This is the best beer bar in Delray Beach by a long shot. Don't let the name fool you, Chung (the owner) is serious about beer and stocks some of the best beers available in our market. Not only has he expanded his always exciting draft offerings, but the bottle selections are always incredible. Often, some truly rare gems can be found on the list. If you are a lover of craft beer then Coffee District should definitely be pinging on your radar.
