Good restaurant but expensive.
We started with the onion dip and the cheese plate. The onion dip was very good. The cheese plate was good but the pricing is confusing and I wouldn't have ordered it if I knew it cost $16. The menu stated it was $4 each, which I thought was per person, but instead it's based on how many cheeses they give you. Why don't they tell you they are giving you 4 cheeses? It just seems like a weird way to price the item.
Our server, Ross, was friendly and attentive.
My husband got the skirt steak, which was good. It was not cooked the way we requested (medium rare) and the presentation is a little weird but the flavors were spot on and the fried rice cake it is served with is really good.
I had the Blue Cheese Brisket, which was fall apart delicious. I thought the blue cheese was a little overpowering (and I LOVE blue cheese) and the kale was totally bland. I love kale and this had no flavor. I forced it down because it's good for me, but I would never eat it willingly again. They also kept all the stems on the kale which renders a sour taste, rookie mistake on their behalf.
Would I come back? Maybe, but on someone else's dime.
Too small, no space to walk around, food is over-priced, and charged for tap water.
Keep an eye on your bar tab...bartender(bald guy) added drinks to two different checks, and didn't even provide an itemized bill. He was trying to rip us off. Manager saw how pissed I was after requesting the itemized receipt and SAID I SHOULD BE HAPPY BC HE COMPED IT, BUT HE DID NOTHING, CHARGE IS STILL ON MY BILL! Got a real bad feeling about this place, stay away! Way overpriced, nothing worth seeing at this place.
I was a frequent customer at Cut 432, which I believe is part of this restaurant group, and will never return.
Will never return and would recommend many other places over Park Tavern. Despite its great location, it's just an over-priced place with mediocre food.
