City Limits

This place had its flaws, but was great while it lasted.  When it was renovated a couple years ago, it had a lot of promise.  It was had more of an upscale feeling than some other venues, but with that came high drink prices.  Unfortunately for the South Florida music scene, this place closed its doors in 2009.

ONLY REAL MUSIC VENUE IN DELRAY

Looks awful from the outside but the inside is GREAT!  I give the bar itself 5 stars.  (It lost one for the diversity in the lineup- just my own musical preferences)

Lots of space and tall tables/chairs inside.  No outdoor seating.  

LOTS of room for dancing and there are bars on each side of the venue.  If you are in Delray looking for live music, this is the first place I would go.  

*NOTE* Most nights there is a cover ($5-$20) depending on the concert schedule.  

The HEAVY PETS are local musicians that I have seen play at City Limits a few times.  There is also a good DJ that plays sometimes.  Most nights there is live music.
