Granger's Bar & Grill

This is my favorite little hole-in-the-wall spot to go for good comfort food in Palm Beach County.

Granger's has been around for a long time and has that charming old-diner feel to it.  A majority of the food is homemade and it's always served fresh and in large portions, making it another great spot to share.  We usually start off with an order of the buffalo-style shrimp (they're $9 and absolutely addicting) or some chili ($3.75 for a good-sized cup or $7.25 for a massive bowl).  The entrees range from $7 to $14.  My personal favorites are the grilled chicken and shrimp caesar salad and the Cajun chicken Philly.  I have also heard rave reviews about the mile-high meatloaf that is served on Saturdays and the smoked BBQ ribs that are served on Wednesdays.

I have driven past this place hundreds of times and finally tried it last week, and I'm seriously wondering why I waited so long.  This is a cute tiny little hole in the wall "dive" but don't let this stop you.  The food is divine and the ladies that work there are wonderful.  
We started with the raspberry chipotle drumettes and then I had the bacon, blue cheese burger which was one of the top 3 best burgers I've ever had.  You must also save room for dessert...they have fresh fried donuts that they serve with a raspberry dipping sauce.  These things are seriously a little pillowy piece of heaven on earth!  Can't wait to go back if not just for the fresh donut goodness!
