This is my favorite little hole-in-the-wall spot to go for good comfort food in Palm Beach County.
Granger's has been around for a long time and has that charming old-diner feel to it. Â A majority of the food is homemade and it's always served fresh and in large portions, making it another great spot to share. Â We usually start off with an order of the buffalo-style shrimp (they're $9 and absolutely addicting) or some chili ($3.75 for a good-sized cup or $7.25 for a massive bowl). Â The entrees range from $7 to $14. Â My personal favorites are the grilled chicken and shrimp caesar salad and the Cajun chicken Philly. Â I have also heard rave reviews about the mile-high meatloaf that is served on Saturdays and the smoked BBQ ribs that are served on Wednesdays.
I have driven past this place hundreds of times and finally tried it last week, and I'm seriously wondering why I waited so long. Â This is a cute tiny little hole in the wall "dive" but don't let this stop you. Â The food is divine and the ladies that work there are wonderful. Â
We started with the raspberry chipotle drumettes and then I had the bacon, blue cheese burger which was one of the top 3 best burgers I've ever had. Â You must also save room for dessert...they have fresh fried donuts that they serve with a raspberry dipping sauce. Â These things are seriously a little pillowy piece of heaven on earth! Â Can't wait to go back if not just for the fresh donut goodness!
