okay was here again another review. Â Come on guys get it together on the wait staff side. Â There's been a lot of turnover on wait staff and now management, Joey is gone, and now Nick is in his place. Â We love to eat at oyster bar as Dave & Moose are great. Â The staff needs training in that they push to take your order, then when they think you are finished, they have moved on to "new" customers. Â Frustrating as we spend a lot of money here, bottle of wine and usually share at least 4-6 appetizers, for example clams and oysters on 1/2 at least 2 dozen, ipswitch clams, chopped salad, ribs, crab cakes, and a pan roast. Â Food is still very good but stick to happy hour for pricing and sit at bar or oyster bar. Â I'll go back but only for happy hour and at oyster bar. Â Bon Appetite selectively!
Review Source:After getting a wonderful tip from one of my favorite Yelpers, I stopped in on Sunday during Game @ of the Spurs v. Heat game and was very happy to hear of the Happy Hour deal they were offering as the Heat special.
*This offer is only for guests who dine at the bar or in the outdoor high top seating*
My party of two sat down at the bar and was promptly greeted by our bartender, Brian. The appetizers all sounded great and we ultimately ordered the ribs and the octopus. Unfortunately, we were told as the ribs were being brought out that they were all out of octopus for the evening.
We then ordered the fish tacos followed by the calamari.
The fish tacos were good, but they were not great. The calamari was also good not great. I was hoping for a bit more of a wow factor considering the pricey tag these dishes normally carry....
My drink of choice for the night was a Long Island Iced Tea and while it was delicious, it was a lot stronger than many other Long Island Iced Teas I've tried elsewhere---this is a good thing :)
I would return during happy hour to partake of the drinks and the 1/2 off apps and hang out with some friends in a very laid back setting.
