Had a great time at Bar 101 - but perhaps the most surprising thing was the food.
I wasn't even in a burger mood, but met friends and had a Sourdough Burger with guac... The sourdough bread was grilled with a perfect buttery crust. The meat was surprisingly high quality - no gristle, tender and juicy... It melted in my mouth and tasted AMAZING. It tasted like how high quality meat should taste. The guac was clearly freshly-made - really a nice accompaniment... The whole thing was delicious.
Really surprised by this place - even met the owners who were really really nice to us. Will definitely go back again. May even make a burger girl out of me.
This place is fantastic! The best drink deals in Roseville, lots of micros on tap, and a 10 foot screen for fights and NFL! The staff is awesome and do a great job. The food is not your average pub food. Great gourmet salads, carnitas fries and fish tacos are awesome, and the NY steak is easily as good as any local steak house at half the price.
Review Source:So what do you do after a day of snowboarding and heading back home? EAT, drink microbrews and watch sports on large TV's! Â And so I was excited when it was suggested to come to this much talked about bar in downtown Roseville. Wow! This place kind of resembles an upscale bar in the Bay Area.
FOOD QUALITY:
With a solid menu that covers the spectrum of mouth-watering delicious menu items. Ingredients are of high quality and they pretty much have spot on execution. It's been a long time since I've had such a good meal with my beer.
Appetizers:
Upon trying Carnitas Fries, Spicy Panko Calamari, Buffalo Wings and Loaded Nachos, my favorites were the Fries and Calamari. Definitely recommend those two.
Entree:
Package Angus Burger- I have to say this is probably one of the best burgers I've ever had.
Pulled BBQ Pork - wow, mouth-watering and cooked to perfection.
Dessert:
Pumpkin Cheesecake - Sweet, delicious with balanced texture of the fruit flavors and sugar.
SERVICE:
Service was impeccable as the staff was super friendly and attentive.
ENVIRONMENT:
Relaxing! There's an ample amount of space here with plenty of 50" Plasma at every sitting angle providing sports entertainment.
Overall, I'm very impressed by Bar101. I would definitely come back here and would highly recommend that everyone experience this place.
This place is awesome when JIM SWEET is bartending! He was the previous owner of Bunz & Co. He is the best bartender in town (seriously, he is). I've also been in there when he cooks. Delicious!!! The chicken sandwich with the chiptotle is great as well as the tacos. He makes a mean burger, too. If you go, I would recommend to go on a night that Mr. Sweet is working...you are guaranteed great service then : )

Review Source:This place was great. Â We came by last weekend since we noticed that it was a new bar in old Roseville. Â The food was wonderful. Â The burger that I ordered was cooked to perfection. Â Very juicy. Â Had a couple Corona's and they were ice cold. Â Just the way that I like them. Â Staff was friendly, and very helpful. Â Our food came super quick. Â When we ordered our cocktails, we got them within 5 mins of ordering them! Â Very upbeat venue. Â We will be coming here very often! Â TWO THUMBS UP TO BAR 101

Oohh... not to mention the alki here is legit, it isnt watered down like some places! Full shots/Mix drinks and you'll be feel'n it!!!! Â Most of the bars don't have a combination of food & alki plus a live band, I guess me and a few of my homegirls found a new HOT SPOT! BAR 101 totally made our night! Review Source:I'm conflicted! I came to watch The Makers perform (really good band!) and I really liked the venue. It was open, casual, and very chill. Prices were AWESOME for drinks (7 large Patron shots for like $45!) and I had heard the fish tacos were the bomb dot com. Service was hella whack though! The bouncer guy was nice but the girls behind the bar literally ignored the whole row of 7 girls, waiting to take the Patron shots, to help all the customers around us. The bar wasn't that big, it's not like they didn't see us. It took me 20 minutes to order, no joke. Next time I'll drink at home and have a white person order my fish tacos.
Review Source:Meh! Maybe tonight was an off night; but I felt like the bar tenders were struggling to multitask, and there were numerous customers who could agree w/ me. The first time I went to the bar, I was served fairly quickly. The second time, I came up to order a salad, made eye contact a couple of times, but didn't get one assurance that service would be coming right up, so I sat down.
Over a period of time (15-20 mins), I observed a gentleman standing and waiting to order a drink. As he stood there, I counted 3 times a bar tender passed him by after he tried to get their attention. Compelled yet hesitant to order a salad from what slow service I've seen, I approached and stood next to the guy I observed the bar. At this point, the guy was fed up waiting, so he waved at anyone who was behind the counter -AND THEY IGNORED HIM!
Gave up on ordering my food. Sat down. Enjoyed the live music for 15 mins. Tried again, made eye contact twice. Ignored. Bar tender comes up to make a drink, to which I interrupted her focus (I guess scooping ice takes a lot of focus) and asked if they are still serving food. She answered, "someone will be with you shortly." AWESOME. A little bit of hope. Guy next to me says, "Wow, you've had better luck than me. I've been standing here for a while, and no ones even come over." A lady comes by, slides a menu and says, "I'll be right back!" I saw this chick walking around behind the bar, aimlessly, as if she didn't know what to do next.
Frustrated from my failed attempts to gain some service, I left and gave up completely. Lord knows how long my drink and food would have taken!
A little improvement on bar tending, please! I think this place has one register/ computer. That would be the problem.
I've been here for lunch a few times. The Package burger is just amazing! The Street Tacos are decent as well. As another review mentioned, they also have a decent beer selection, on tap as well is in bottles.
The place has a great vibe and is much larger than I expected! Large bar, plenty of tables, and they even managed to squeeze a pool table into the mix. Lastly, this plays have t.v.'s galore! Great place to grab a drink while catching a game!
