Saturday lunch at Bar 2421 was excellent. Â My wife and I, along with another couple, had lunch there yesterday. Â The sandwiches bear the names of local towns - I had the turkey wrap ("Meriden") and the other man had the spicy panini ("Newington"). Â The wives both had cheeseburgers with fries (unusual, but true). Â The service was somewhat slow, but not extremely bad (there was only one waittress to cover four different lunch parties). Â The soup (Pasta Fagioli) had too much tomato for me, but the turkey wrap was excellent as was the sweet potato fries that were served with the wrap.
The decor is interesting - a "wall of metal" behind the long bar with quite a few tables and a raised band stand.
If you are on the Berlin Turnpike and hungry, you will enjoy this restaurant!
