Barbecue Chuck Wagon

Growing up in the "south" and school in Alabama, I have to say the chuck wagon kicks their butt!! We got the pork and the fish plate and they were both amazing and tender. The slaw was cabbage, apple and pineapple- so refreshing and not made with that fattening mayo crap. Their beans had flavor that was unreal and a ton of veggies. I'd go out of my way to eat here!!!

Glad to find this little gem right near home! My boyfriend ordered the short ribs and I ordered the pulled pork sandwich. After a couple of minutes they informed me that they were out of the pulled pork, so I ordered the ribs instead. Even though the ribs are $3 more, they refused to let me pay the difference and gave them to me for the lower price to make up for the inconvenience. I really appreciated the gesture.

The ribs may be the best short ribs I've ever had. Short ribs can be fairly fatty, but these were a great cut and cooked perfectly. Crispy outside, super tender and fall-off-the-bone meat. Wonderful flavor. I loved the homemade baked beans, bt I wasn't a huge fan of the slaw or cornbread. I would happily order the ribs again. I want to try the pulled pork now, but the ribs were so good I don't know if I'll actually branch out.

Best BBQ I've had.  Pulled pork sandwich was awesome.
