We just moved to the cape this past winter and all the locals we have met told us that we needed to go here. Â We were sorry we did. Â First, they make you pay $20 to park, but they tell you they will give you $20 in food or merchandise inside. Â Not cool if you only want to drink and don't want a tourist trap t-shirt. We went for a few beers but were told we couldn't sit at a table because we weren't eating. Â When beer is $5 each, our tab would have ended up way more than if we ordered food so they really missed the boat there. Â There is nowhere to sit at the outside bar and if you do sit at a table outside, you get a lovely view of people's bums. Â This place is only a good time if you are a barely 21 tourist. Â It might be on the beach, but you can't see it from anywhere but the overcrowded bar. Â We definitely won't be back.
Review Source:If it wasn't for the horrible service I would give this place 5 stars. The idyllic location and great food and drinks truly is worth driving to and visiting. But I have never been treated so disrespectfully by a bartender. After spending hours there and enjoying great conversation with people around us, a kind elderly gentleman bought me and my friend the round of drinks we had in our hands. There were 2 bartenders working and the one who made our drinks had already put them on my tab, however the elderly man paid the other bartender. When it came time to pay I asked for my tab and the drinks were on there. I clearly saw the miscommunication happen so tried to bring it up to the bartender who originally made our drinks (and also mentioned he managed at the restaurant) He wouldn't even let me explain and then proceeded to use profanity and say "just pay your ****** tab!" In front of a bar full of people! Â I then tried to explain myself again, and he he just huffed away taking the drinks off our tab and rudely not answering me when we asked for the void slip of the first charge that was wrong. Sadly that exchange stuck with me and my friend and put a damper on our experience.
