My husband and I found this place totally by accident, on our first trip to Truro in 2009.  We have been devoted customers ever since.  The scones are absolutely to DIE for.  Im now gluten intolerant so I'm sadly unable to taste them... but if you can eat wheat, I highly recommend them! The breakfast sandwich The Breaker nearly brings my husband to tears every time he has one.  Wood fired pizzas are very good, and this season they offer a gluten free option!  And my friends the ice cream.... Oh the ice cream.... We do think this is the best we have ever had.  Ever.  Anywhere.  No lie.  You have to try the ice cream. Wow!

There are many, many superlatives about Savory and Sweet Escapes.   We are such devote fans that we even bought t-shirts!  

I can and do recommend Savory and Sweet Escapes wholeheartedly, with one caveat: the service is uneven at best... And often quite surly.  Now remember, we are fans.  we think the quality of the product here is absolutely outstanding.  We recommend you go and enjoy, but Please don't be surprised if the service is not up to the quality of the food.  Be polite and patient and you will be rewarded with some absolutely outstanding baked goods, sandwiches, pizza, and ice cream.  Like us, you will return every single time you are on the Cape.

A must stop when leaving Provincetown. Great pizza, home made ice cream, and then grab a really good cup of coffee for the road.
