Stopped in to the Squealing Pig for a late dinner, they were about to stop serving food at 10pm. The interior is pleasant but seems more like a bar than a restaurant. I had the Chicken Curry: Grilled chicken and mixed vegetables in nepali curry sauce served with rice ...overpriced @ $14.99. The amount was sufficient but hardly any chicken and for a curry dish, surprisingly bland. My partner had a burger which was unmemorable.
Service was attentive and Stella cold but probably wouldn't go back.

Nice beer selection, decent cocktails and subpar food. After the fireworks on the 4th, my boyfriend and I searched high and low for a spot where the kitchen didn't close early due to the holiday. Squealing Pig served food 'til 10 so we ordered some calamari, a pulled pork sandwich and a pesto chicken 'toastie' with chicken, pesto and brie (each was $12).

Honestly, nothing memorable, all completely mediocre. For all the excellent places to eat on Commercial Street, Squealing Pig does not rank highly. The page long bottle/draft list is impressive for the area but competes with the beer garden down the street. Also, the two seater tables in the middle of the bar are AWFUL when the bar counter is crowded - unless you like having everyone's asses in your face.

All in all, nothing special but service was good.

Get a bloody Mary, fish sandwich, upgrade the fries for a buck.

Perfect combo. And, like, totally healthy....
