Surprisingly good wings for an airport bar serving typically overpriced beer. Good selection of unfortunately non-hoppy beers. Â Busy wait staff are fairly friendly. Â During my visit, i talked to three interesting characters. You can bring in pizza from the pseudo-French bakery down the way. See beer list photo.
Review Source:Avoid at all costs. The food is marginal and the service is even worse... The only way a place like this stays in business is through a captive audience, haha airport terminal a @ lambert. I would suggest walking past BofW and going to Mosaic, it is friendlier, better service and better food.
Review Source:I attempted to eat lunch here earlier today before my flight. Â I sat myself and it was about ten minutes before anyone came over to take my order. Â When my waitress finally acknowledged my existence, she was rude and not very accomodating (Older woman with reddish/brown curly hair. Â I don't know her name because she didn't offer it. Â She was working around 3:30 on 11/25). Â I thought that I picked something fairly simple - a glass of water and the chicken finger basket. Â After I placed my order she went back to serving other customers alcohol and running checks. Â
This went on for about ten minutes. Â So after sitting at this "restaurant" for 20 minutes I STILL hadn't received anything to drink. Â I realized that at this pace, I would miss my flight over the horrible service so I got up and left. Â The waitress made eye contact with me but didn't even have the decency to acknowledge that a customer was leaving due to her complete inattention.
I travel about every other week for work. Â Unfortunately, this means I often find myself forced to catch a bite to eat at random airport restaurants. Â Typically, the waitress will let me know the preparation time of whatever I order because they know that passengers often don't have a lot of time prior to their flight so there is a sense of urgency. Â I don't necessarily need that level of thoroughness, but to just complete ignore someone in an airport setting for 20 minutes is insane. Â I don't expect Ruth's Chris treatment when I'm buying a basket of chicken fingers, but at least make an attempt to perform your job to an acceptable standard. Â There are many people without work out there - do yourself a favor and fire this woman and replace her with someone who is actually going to care about your business.
Located in the airport I kind of know what to expect but I'm always a little let down to have to eat with plastic forks, etc. Â Paper plates too if I remember right. Â I'm not asking for too much to eat from real plates and use real utensils right? Â Maybe I'm being picky.
The service at the bar was great and the whole staff seemed to be the happiest I've ever seen in an airport eatery. Â They were all like family, joking and playing around. Â I am not mad about that, just strange...ha!
I only wish I could have tried some of the beer here but traveling on business during the day didn't allow for that.
Typical airport fare at best. Don't let the name suck you in. They are out of some beers, the beer menu is incorrect, they are out of some foods, and the place is not all that nice. If you are not particular about your beer or food, you could do worse-but don't arrive excited about your beer prospects are you'll surely be disappointed!
Review Source:Now that InBev owns Anheuser Busch, we have a new airport restaurant pub that features many of the InBev brands on tap plus burgers, salads, sandwiches and other airport fare. The food is OK. Some of the beers are good - like Hoegarden, Leffe and Boddington. Having tried all of the other restaurants in Terminal 1 at Lambert Airport, I can say that, unfortunately, this is your best bet.
