I have been here many times and have always had a good dining experience and the food has been consistently excellent. Â The menu is very vegetarian-friendly and is constantly changing. Â The atmosphere is artistic and fun, and with their wine flights it is a great place for trying new wines! (and now, new beers.)
Recently I went for dinner with a group and had a great vegan lentil soup that was the soup of the day. Â I paired this with a small plate of gnocchi which was also excellent (although rich). Â We tried many of the small plate appetizers and a couple of different wines which turned out to be perfect choices thanks to the knowledgeable server.
The place was busy for dinner on a Monday night and it has been busy every time I have been there--for lunch or for a happy hour or for dinner.
The food was pretty good. I had the bronzed Mahi Mahi.
The service at the bar from Robert was pretty obnoxious. Â I was eating alone and was pretty excited about eating here based on the reviews. Robert pretty much dashed the expectations I had. He was in a constant hurry to move me along and showed no interest in making recommendations or small talk.
He did not share the specials with me, which I later overheard him telling another customer.
He commented "no one has every said that before" when I commented on the wine being a little sweet. As if to say you know nothing about wine.
He asked if I wanted to see the desert menu while I was still working on my meal. I told I would when I was done with my entree but that did not stop him from putting the dessert menu in front of me five minutes later while I was still eating. I had to ask him to slow it down.
The food is good. The wine is good. I suggest you get a table and don't sit at the bar.
